So I wanna talk about the Kreider/Price thing, since it's on my mind today, for obvious reasons. I think it's turned into a bit of a reductive argument, and the standard talking points getting rehashed over and over miss the mark a bit. 1/?
Man I knew Ruocchio cribbed from Gene Wolfe but that first quote is literally a New Sun quote with some light thesaurus action.
We're now one month away from the release of Songs of the Sun Eater, and it cannot get here fast enough. As we wait, check out your favorite quotes from the fourth book, Kingdoms of Death.

One of the cool things about Adam Fox is that you can state very basic, obvious facts about how good he is and this counts as insight because the hockey world has gaslit itself into thinking otherwise.

Harrow kindly sat down with our magazine editor Beth Tabler, and feral superfan Krystle Matar, to talk about short stories, Ancel, spite, and a love of storytelling.

Honestly this was a big issue with the Wheel of Time TV show. In the books, the various nations had vastly different identities and feels to them.
In the show, they’re all the same because they’re all melting pots.

@NickZararis hits on something huge here, and maybe something that makes Perreault uniquely positioned to succeed.
Perreault spent the last several years NOT being the “best” player. He was on a line with Smith and Leonard and perceived as lesser than both. (1/2)
I don’t think it’s necessarily a “skill” issue, it’s that reading carries a greater moral weight. Pirating a book, even for those who are inclined toward pirating, feels wrong in a way that pirating a stream of a football game or an episode of Breaking just doesn’t

The defensive improvement for this team comes screaming off the page here. Only four high danger me chances for a very talented Tampa team is impressive.

@NYRangers vs @TBLightning
🏒 This is the number every team is chasing.
The Rangers hit the golden number: 7+ HD Chances created while taking 12 or fewer LD Chances.

I don't know if you guys are fans of Orson Scott Card or not, but
Ukrainian-developed FPV drone simulator “Remote Reaper: FPV Drone” has officially left Early Access, with version 1.0 now available on Steam.
Developed in collaboration with military pilots, the simulator focuses on combat FPV drone operations and introduces several features in its full release, including armored vehicles with modeled vulnerable zones, electronic warfare effects that can disrupt video feeds and control signals during the final stage of an attack, and a customizable drone editor.
Version 1.0 also adds configurable weather conditions, custom mission editing, real-time flights with other pilots and a racing mode.
Players can use FPV hardware or a gamepad with realistic flight physics, or opt for simplified controls using a keyboard and mouse.
