Luanette 0.8: maps, a bigger sprite sheet, shared code, and a smoother board
• Map editor: paint tile maps right in the playground
• Overworld: a 1,024-screen world in ~8 KB, stored the way Mother 1 stored its map
• 256 sprites, sprite flags for walls and doors, sprites drawn in blocks or stretched, and any color can be transparent
• Libraries: tweens, timers, camera, dialog boxes, particles and more, added with one click
• On the board: still 3D scenes cost nothing, saves no longer hitch, and sound doesn’t stall
Shipped some new features for the playground:
• Cart gallery
• Play mode: full screen, with a d-pad and buttons on your phone
• Play links that open straight into the game
• Cleaner editor: Syntax highlighting, file, share and board menus, resizable split
