The treatment of Jackson is proof that many of these ex-players look at white players more favourably.
Some of the stuff I'm reading is ridiculous. Delap is no better.

People who rate Delap over Jackson don't have a clue about football.
I'd much rather have Jackson up top against this PSG side. Delap is a nobody in that kind of game.

Villa selling Watkins then signing Jackson for a lower base fee + wages.
Dream transfer chain for Villa.
Jackson is an upgrade on this version of Watkins and 5 years younger.

Jackson vs Man City (A) early 2024.
Completely wrecked that City high line.
Chelsea should've won.

if you're asking yourself how Brentford sold themselves to Mamadou Sangare over Champions League clubs, here's one answer.

Eddie Howe is the favourite for the #mufc job. He is admired within Old Trafford, and Howe would be interested in the role as he wants to return to the PL as soon as possible [@reluctantnicko]

Every time I think to or want to hate on Barcelona they’ve got a new academy kid, I’ve never heard of, in their starting lineup and I just can’t bring myself to do it. I can’t not love a club of this stature being such a cornerstone for youth development and the academy pipeline

there’s no drop off in quality of strikers, it’s just not true. it’s shit scouting & shit squad building. when you can’t build teams around different characteristics & try pigeonhole them into one, the game will inevitably suffer.

I grew up on this but I'm supposed to be happy and accept shaky 1-0 wins where we struggle to break the opposition down for 80 minutes and scam a goal in the last 10
Yeah, Nobody would care, but you’ll win a lot less, lose your identity and commercial appeal. The teams that win the most trophies and create a dynasty are the ones that play the best football. People remember Arsene more than GG. Nobody likes boring football.
Only smaller clubs tend to think this way, to be honest. Fans of genuinely elite clubs should care about the style of football their teams play, it has never been solely about winning trophies. Do you seriously think Barca would persist with a manager whose football puts people to sleep simply because he wins trophies?? Madrid sacked Capello despite winning the league because his style of football did not align with the club’s identity. Arsenal fans spent years criticising Chelsea for winning titles with uninspiring football, yet suddenly, you lot have become advocates of the very same approach. A football club’s identity is about far more than the trophies won
Honestly, dunno what spell Gallas cast on Wenger. Wenger was biased toward French players, but his indulgence of Gallas was strange . He gave him the #10 shirt and made him captain over G.Silva. By all accounts at Chelsea, Gallas was a loose cannon who even threatened to score an own goal. Yet, Wenger traded the world's best LB for him and entrusted him to lead Arsenal's new young core.
Couple people asking me about this so here it is.
Toure was angry cos he thought Gallas was talking about him behind his back to Wenger and telling him he doesn’t want to play with Toure, as their partnership never worked. Then Toure didnt like that Wenger took Gallas’ side. Toure got dropped in the next game and asked to leave in January. They were kept apart for the next couple of games and they never spoke to each other for the rest of the season, on the pitch and off the pitch. Toure’s move to Man City in the summer was basically all cos he didn’t wanna play with Gallas.
The game was awful too. We were so bad but somehow 2-0 up. Villa made it 2-2 in injury time and Wenger shoved Martin O’Neill

Not saying it’s justified but “stop yapping” is seen as disrespectful by most people especially if you don’t know each other

Controlling bobbled touches and deflections should be praised more.
But players get the benefit of the official UCL page speeding up clips from a certain to benefit their PR while others get laughed at for such a skill

I just hope this thing doesn't make these players give up entirely. Certain margins have not just gone in our favour and it's fine. It's not reason to give up on the season. We just lost one game in the CL, doesn't mean we can't qualify.

Yet they are in the relegation zone and can't beat a lethargic United. Perhaps the whole point about recruitment is overblown, and perhaps we should be looking into the footballing culture(training, conditioning etc) also.

"Even if weak at the back, United should be scoring 2-3 goals a game on average like 2016-2018 Pool."
Same sentiment. One of reason I supported Amorim getting sacked.
