Liquidity is key. JPMorgan even cited it as a reason for bringing JPM Coin to Ethereum.
But as we add more RWAs, chains and tokens risk further fragmenting liquidity. Interoperability is needed more than ever.
JPMorgan Brings JPM Coin To Ethereum
JPMorgan (@jpmorgan) launched its deposit token, JPM Coin, on Ethereum (@ethereum) ethereum:native for institutional clients.
The bank cited Ethereum’s liquidity and established client activity as reasons for choosing the network.
The token represents US dollar deposits and enables payments around the clock, without traditional banking delays.
JP Morgan says it expects demand from crypto firms and institutions settling tokenized assets.
The token first launched on Base (@base) and allows institutional clients to transfer dollars within seconds.
We understand the challenges builders face moving beyond the idea stage. That’s what the Aqua Incubator is for.
Get up to $50K per team to help turn your ideas into real DeFi innovation.
Keep building.
Most know the @1inch story by now. But do you know where it’s going?
I recently chatted with the Crypto Curious Pod about RWAs, AI, and what might be coming for Aqua and its incentives.
Here’s a Tuesday morning listen for you all: open.spotify.com/episode/1tO…
1inch has supported @BNBCHAIN since its early days, so adding bStocks was a natural next step. We are already seeing strong adoption of tokenized equities on BNB Chain, and 1inch aims to accelerate that momentum.
At @1inch, we’re focused on maintaining our early lead in RWA aggregation. The pace at which we’re adding issuers shows that commitment.
$30B+ in tokenized stock volume. No chain does more than @BNBCHAIN.
Now bStocks from @bstocksfinance are on the 1inch dApp and Wallet. 77 stocks and ETFs, including:
→ Tesla (TSLAB)
→ Nvidia (NVDAB)
→ QQQ (QQQB)
Search the ticker. Swap.
Ethereum has never been one to simply follow the status quo. The blockchain’s strength lies in its ability to radically alter the trajectory of the space, and to do so transparently.
The idea of Ethereum as the “cryptographic world computer” reinforces that. It proposes new boundaries for what the blockchain itself needs to do, and where different parts of computation should take place.
That opens up a huge number of new design possibilities for protocols. There are still plenty of questions about where these boundaries will ultimately lie, but that’s partly the point of setting out the vision early. We can challenge and it can evolve.
The cryptographic world computer:

My attempt to express in somewhat concise terms the true meaning of basically everything planned to happen to Ethereum starting from the fork after Hegota. It's really not just a blockchain anymore. It's a hybrid architecture that combines together blockchains and modern cryptography, to enable much more powerful properties.
FOCIL, EIP-8288, Lean consensus, state management, formal verification, advanced mempool improvements (including privacy), and the longer-term specter of obfuscation all mentioned.
Today, AI agents are being given crypto and asked to manage it, albeit within permissions. Humans define the capital, intent, and boundaries within which agents are increasingly able to make economic decisions themselves. This is where crypto's next billion users will come from.
With infrastructure like the @1inch MCP, an agent that could previously read your DeFi positions can now open and close them. Tell Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor the pair, and the agent can execute, once you sign that is.
Beyond just managing strategies, BlackRock’s recent paper outlines how at the same time crypto as an industry is set to benefit from the rise of AI agents. The rails we have built lend themselves naturally to virtual entities: no need for physical cards, bank tellers, or face recognition. What agents need are seamless, optimised rails and financial infrastructure that can operate digitally and autonomously.
For some time I have predicted that the next billion blockchain users may be AI agents. I still believe this, only now, I think it will happen sooner.
Crypto isn't just an asset class AI can trade. It may become part of the financial infrastructure AI operates on.
Our latest research paper explores the growing connection between AI and digital assets and explains why broad AI adoption may drive new demand, utility and applications across the digital asset economy. blackrock.com/us/individual/…
You cannot ignore us. DeFi is now on your TV 📺
Yesterday, I joined @FINTECHTVglobal from their Dubai studio, just before the NYSE opening bell. To summarize:
→ @1inch Aqua crossed $3B in volume
→ Intent-based infrastructure is the perfect match for RWAs
→ AI agents are already plugging into Web3
→ $7B in RWA volume has already moved through 1inch
In case you missed it:

1/ Two RTX 5090s in Thunderbolt enclosures on a @Apple Mac mini, both at PCIe Gen4 x4, running GIMPS prime tests — on Apple silicon, where no @nvidia driver exists. Built with @cursor_ai , disclosed, measured on my own hardware. Here's what it took 🧵
4/ Two things I got wrong and fixed: my second card ran 2× slower because my own code misread its bus name — nothing to do with the link. And the link pin I ship for Ada isn't needed on Blackwell: a 5090 held Gen4 x4 for 8 hours unpinned, zero link errors.
5/ Measurements are also in a tinygrad Discussion, still open: github.com/tinygrad/tinygrad… If any of it is wrong, the code is public — say where. The upstream conversation about how this kind of work gets reviewed is here, if you're curious: xitter.cf/__tinygrad__/status/21…
Today, @arc brought together institutional and crypto-native heavyweights to build the financial infrastructure of the future.
It might feel remarkable today to see brands such as BlackRock, Visa and Mastercard in the same salmon pink Financial Times announcement alongside @1inch.
But soon, it'll just be the norm. The DeFi industry is only heading in one direction, forwards.
1inch is live on @arc. Full suite from launch: dApp, latest version of 1inch Wallet, Aqua, every API.
Arc is built for real world finance. Moving RWAs is already what we do best, now it runs on Arc.
Intent-based swaps, no gas fees, MEV protection. Cross-chain with no bridge.
For builders: swaps, quotes and routing behind one API key, with Aqua underneath for liquidity that’s already there.
DeFi adoption and understanding go hand in hand. We can’t just talk about becoming a central piece of financial systems; we need to take practical steps to upskill the people who will shape them.
Alongside @BlockchainAssn, we are laying the groundwork for the future of finance.
Tomorrow's CEOs, lawyers and founders will inherit a financial system built on DeFi. But most aren’t learning how it works. Let’s change that.
1inch and the @BlockchainAssn invite you to Groundwork: our 1-day gathering in Washington DC for students, policymakers and DeFi builders.
16 Oct, alongside DC Fintech Week - with travel sponsorship available soon.
Three chains in three days.
We have integrated HyperEVM, just hours after Monad and Cronos.
Solving fragmentation is core to our mission, and we’re challenging the industry to move faster with us.
If we’re going to scale DeFi as an industry, we need a more connected ecosystem where users can access liquidity and swap seamlessly across chains.
Expansion mode: on.
1inch is live on HyperEVM. Everything from the start: intent-based swaps with no gas fees and MEV protection, cross-chain in with no bridge, self-custodial throughout, plus Aqua.
The house of finance just got a new wing. Welcome to the @HyperliquidX era for 1inch.
My Forbes interview is out.
Let me be clear: DeFi and 1inch are set to become central to global finance. The profits and size will come.
But you don't get there by only focusing on extracting from users today.
You get there by building better products, better outcomes and expanding the market.
Build the rails now. Charge when all of finance runs on them. That's what @1inch is all about.

Ten days ago, we were celebrating $500m.
Tuesday's $1bn Aqua volume milestone is proof people are using the product, sure. But more importantly, it's proof we need it.
Shared liquidity is a new idea. We always expected adoption to take time. The speed at which we’ve gone from 0 to $1bn tells us something pretty simple: the problem is real, and the product is solving it.
1inch Aqua just passed $1B in total volume.
Six weeks from launch to ten figures. The shared liquidity model is doing what it was built to do.
