A digital bearer asset is an incredible invention, but as usual, it seems respect will have to be earned the hard way.
I've said for years that altcoins are a liability for bitcoin.
Not because of the risk they pose from a competitive standpoint, but rather the widening of attack surfaces for holders due to the slapdash nature with which they were developed.
I would not hold bitcoin in any hardware wallet, service, or exchange that does business with shitcoins.
Too much complexity, too many vulnerabilities. If you leave the backdoor open, attackers will use it.
AI has lowered the bar for hacking and I think it's long past time we insulate ourselves.
How's that "world computer" working out again?
I wouldn't hold bitcoin on any exchange that deals in Ethereum and other shit coins.
ok safe to say binance is pwned
The biggest assets were approximately:
• 1.615B USDT
• 62.6M RLUSD
• 29,934 wBETH
• 11,372 XAUt
• 6.19M UNI
• 198.4M ENA
• 7.175T PEPE
• 27.8M USD1
• 2.26M LINK
• 127,853 AAVE
about $2.5B at the explorer’s prices.
1. The attacker deployed a delegate contract, 0x63e842b0...73e9c6fAe, from the relayer at 15:59 UTC.
2. About four hours later, the relayer submitted an EIP-7702 authorization transaction
That installed the malicious 7702 delegate code on Binance 14.
3. The relayer then made a call to Binance 14, executing the delegate code, and transferring Binance 14’s ETH and token balances.
4. The calldata is labeled sweep(address, address[]). The second argument is a list of recognizable token-contract addresses plus the zero-address (eth).
5. The same relayer later used the same delegate to move 780M USDC from Binance Hot Wallet 34 into the same pool
• The relayer 0x7C... was funded by three Tornado Cash 0.1 ETH withdrawals over the prior two days.
• The same pool also received 28,005.6 ETH from Binance 16 24 seconds after the main sweep.
• The pool then forwarded 195,460 ETH to a fresh, unlabeled EOA
• That EOA has only one transaction and currently holds the 195,460 ETH.
What's a bit unclear is why the relayer was needed in the first place. If they had the private keys to the Binance wallets, they could have just sent the assets out in an atomic bundle without needing a relayer at all.
So it seems likely that they didn't have the private keys and instead just had the 7702 auth signatures, which must have been phished somehow.
I think we can go ahead and assume DPRK.
Wall street takes infinite risk then pushes it off onto unsuspecting pensions and retirements funds.
At what point is this considered systemic fraud?
I’m beginning to think the inflation rate is whatever the person writing the article wants it to be.
Millennials aren’t as bad off as you think, per the Economist.
The Economist gathered income data for millennials in 32 rich countries. In only three, Italy, Greece and Japan, are millennials worse off than earlier generations.
In the other 29, millennials earn more after inflation than past generations did.
Apparently this weeks FUD is that AI is going to prove P=NP and all I can do is shake my head and wonder why this nonsense always seems to originate from the Ethereum camp.
Why do we continue this charade? Just abolish the limit and admit the money will be printed into oblivion.
GOP WEIGHS DEBT-LIMIT HIKE BEFORE NEW CONGRESS
Republican lawmakers are considering raising the U.S. debt ceiling during the post-election lame-duck session, potentially using budget reconciliation to avoid needing Democratic votes.
House Budget Chair Jodey Arrington has floated a roughly $4 trillion increase, after Congress raised the ceiling by $5 trillion to $41 trillion in 2025.
The proposal would address borrowing needs expected to become more pressing in 2027, while Congress also faces a Dec. 11 government-funding deadline.
These scam artists will stop at nothing to dump their bags on you.
I’ve never been more bullish on anything as I am on $ZEC.
It has a cracked and functional dev team. It’s quantum recoverable. It doesn’t have the Saylor overhang.
On narrative it's a simple pitch. Everyone missed Bitcoin but actually Bitcoin has some problems and now maybe you get another go. When you zoom all the way out on the chart it has the helpful first candle that makes everything since look small. It implements Satoshi's original digital cash vision which Bitcoin failed to achieve.
It's not tied to fundamentals - it's only comp is Bitcoin which is 50x the price. So in a bull market it can absorb all the excess liquidity.
And right now people are targeting 10% of Bitcoin's price as a goal. But if it gets there the goal will shift to a full flippening. And at that point it would seem possible.
Tbh I think maybe it is possible.
There is a direct correlation between rising bond yields and the sudden urgency for AI companies to go public.
They're running out of easy money.
People don't understand that ZEC is not going parabolic because it's a better bitcoin.
It's going parabolic because it's a pump and dump scheme that hijacks retail investors fear of missing out in an effort to enrich insiders at the expense of anyone stupid enough to buy it.
People don’t understand that $ZEC is not going parabolic because it’s a privacy coin. It’s going parabolic because they have a clear path to a quantum resistant protocol into 2027 AND they have privacy AND it’s the same tokenomics as BTC. If it was this bullish from privacy features alone, then Monero would be 5x higher because it’s much better at privacy than Zcash is. Quantum resistant BTC is the main narrative in my opinion.
Insiders will say anything to keep this bubble inflated.

I have a new attitude towards the housing market.
Tell me what it was worth in 2019, add ~20% and that's todays fair market price.
Anything more is sellers dreaming of suckers.
A perfect study in mainstream market psychology.
The bottom is never THE bottom, and the top is never THE top.
A great look through the window of why retail investors buy tops and sell bottoms.
Businesses can and will continue to raise prices as long as the S&P continues to go vertical.
When the game of musical chairs stops the chaos will ensue.
