How it started: At the first Better Hack in Pune, Bosky @0xBosky dropped by to hang out. But as soon as the hackathon began, one problem kept coming up: no one had access to AI model APIs (pro/paid accounts). So Bosky did what he does best. He spun up an API, linked his own model keys, and shared it with everyone. By lunch, every participant had access — and OpenAI had emailed Bosky thinking his keys were compromised 😅 That moment sparked an idea. What if this wasn’t a one-off fix, but a platform? Within weeks, we aligned on the mission. Bosky named it AI Grants India — inspired by Nat & Dan’s AI Grant — and we structured it as a non-profit. DF, my broader non-profit project, signed on as the first annual sponsor, and we’re off to the races.
