We have to talk about that book.
Don’t mind me. Just sobbing on the plane reading the last page of Crime and Punishment.

You almost have to feel sorry for these people like Hillary or Liz who can’t escape these moments of the past to the point where they can’t stop talking about them. It’s like that girl or guy who peaked in high school and remain stuck there mentally.
Liz Cheney REFUSES to move on from the second impeachment "One really crucial moment that led us to where we are today was Mitch McConnell not voting to convict." “If he had voted to convict, you would have had enough Republicans who would have followed him… he would have been convicted.” She’s still arguing the 2021 trial.

what. a. scoop. while not illegal and third party candidate recruitment to siphon votes practiced by both party's and as old as the republic itself, not sure I've ever seen such a complete opening of the kimono like this. hell hath no fury like a...campaign manager scorned. nytimes.com/2026/10/28/us/po…

Notably, NYT reports that the @dscc (Democratic Senatorial Campaign Commitee), was also involved in this effort.

By now, I'm ready to call Trump's obeisance to Putin "traitorous" (not the same as "treasonous," which has legal connotations). nytimes.com/2026/10/27/us/po… As @AndrewCMcCarthy has said, there should be a MAJOR investigation into his conduct. @Kasparov63 @jaynordlinger @AdamKinzinger

It’s a very good movie but if your takeaway is that Elizabeth Holmes might be a neurodivergent victim I think you have forcibly disconnected yourself from reality. More specifically, she *obviously* gets The Who’s on First joke—and is profoundly motivated to pretend she doesn’t.

In the 1960s and 1970s, liberals took great care in arguing for equal opportunity, not equal outcomes. The distinction has become muddled.

42 years ago today, my father, of blessed memory, had the privilege to introduce President Ronald Reagan at Temple Hillel on Long Island, where my father served as the Rabbi. If one is looking for a decisive turning point where the Republican Party became the pro-Israel party, this may be it. One of many great lines by President Reagan that day: “If Israel ever is asked to leave the United Nations, America and Israel will walk out together.” Full ceremony below: Remarks to the Temple Hillel Congregation & Jewish Comm. I thought it was shocking that in short order Seyfried was ready to ditch her Dropout persona for a new take just because the Grifter's boyfriend is a jerk.
Setting aside what happened in real life, in the context of the film Amanda Seyfried might come off the worst. It’s kind of astonishing how little thought she’s put into the ethics of an actor portraying a real-life person.

At my Virginia polling place, I mentioned that you can vote with no ID. A Democrat in line said he would be very concerned with such a rule, and asked the poll worker if it was true. She said that’s false, you need an ID. Then it was my turn to vote, and I told the guy: I don’t have an ID, will my vote immediately be counted the same as everyone else? He said yeah. Just had me write my name on this form. Birthday and social can be left blank.
