Ark Invest Buys $5.2M in Circle While Selling $15.9M in Bitcoin ETF Cathie Wood's Ark Invest is making an interesting move in crypto markets. As $BTC faces selling pressure, the firm has bought $5.2M in Circle shares while cutting $15.9M from its Bitcoin ETF position! Key takeaways for crypto investors: • $5.2M invested in Circle, the company behind the USDC stablecoin. • $15.9M sold from a Bitcoin ETF, reducing direct exposure to Bitcoin's price. • The move shifts part of Ark's crypto exposure toward stablecoin infrastructure. Ark isn't leaving crypto; it's adjusting where its money is invested.

Uptober is not happening this year. Bitcoin is down around 4% in October, putting $BTC on track for a second consecutive red October after October 2025 also ended lower. That is notable because October has historically been one of Bitcoin's strongest months, with positive returns in about 75% of years since 2014. Now attention shifts to November. Historical data gives November a stronger seasonal record, but the current market still needs fresh demand and momentum for that pattern to matter. A recovery could bring Bitcoin back into focus, while continued selling would keep downside risk on the table. November could give a clearer signal on where BTC heads next.

Google Is Building Crypto Security for Banks. Why Now? 76% of $BTC crypto losses from hacks in H1 2026 came from infrastructure and operational compromises, including stolen private keys and seed phrases. Now Google is preparing a dedicated system for exactly this problem. Google Multi-Party Compute (MPC) splits control of a wallet key across several separate environments. For example, one part could stay with Google Cloud, another on a bank's own hardware, and another with a different cloud provider. Before a transaction is signed, institutions can also set rules around: - transaction limits - approved destination wallets - how many people or systems must approve a transfer The full private key is never stored in one place, so compromising one machine shouldn't be enough to move the assets. Alphabet is already using the technology to secure its own assets on $ETH and Solana, while a commercial launch is planned for early 2027. Google also says the architecture could later support post-quantum cryptography, although today it is focused on much more immediate problems: stolen credentials & unauthorized transactions.

Bitcoin remains one of the few major assets still dominated by individual holders, but institutional ownership is expected to grow as the market matures, according to River. More institutional capital could bring deeper liquidity, but also greater concentration of ownership.

US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $176M in inflows on Tuesday, bringing the two-day total to $286M and extending their recovery after $774M in withdrawals last week. 🔑 Market highlights: 💰 October BTC ETF outflows narrowed to just $26M. ₿ $BTC climbed back above $81K. 😐 Crypto Fear & Greed Index rose to 51, remaining neutral.

Solana spot ETFs recorded $19.16M in outflows on Tuesday, pushing weekly withdrawals to $27.38M and October outflows to nearly $100M. 📉 🔑 Key market signals: $SOL trades near $101.50, down 13.8% this month. ETF net assets fell to $1.54B from $1.96B in September. 🐻 A daily close below $100 could confirm a bearish pattern, with $80 emerging as a potential downside target. ⚠ Despite historically strong November performance, past gains offer no guarantee of a recovery. ETF demand has also failed to prevent previous SOL declines.

FOMC Decision Today: Will the Fed Shake Up Crypto Markets? All eyes are on the US Federal Reserve as its October 28 policy meeting concludes. Investors are watching for clues on interest rates and the outlook for monetary policy. 🔑 What matters for crypto: 🏦 The Fed’s interest rate decision. 📊 Signals on inflation and future rate moves. 🎙 Fed Chair Kevin Warsh’s press conference. ₿ Potential volatility for $BTC and altcoins as markets react. Markets largely expect rates to remain unchanged, but the Fed’s statement and guidance could drive the next move.

Fed Decision, GDP Data & $12B Options Expiry: Big Week Ahead for Crypto! Three major events are coming, and Bitcoin is already struggling below $80,000. The crypto market is heading into a volatile week, with the Fed's interest rate decision on October 28, followed by key US economic reports on October 29. Here's why traders are watching closely: • Fed Decision: Markets see an 88% chance of unchanged rates, but the Fed's comments could still shake risk assets. • Inflation & GDP: September PCE inflation and Q3 GDP data arrive Thursday, offering fresh clues about the US economy. • Options Expiry: Around $12 billion in Bitcoin options are reportedly set to expire Friday, adding another potential source of volatility. With $BTC trading near $80,000 and $78,000 emerging as key support, the big question is whether macro news will bring buyers back or trigger another sell-off.

The amount of $BTC on spot exchanges has started to rise. This indicates that crypto investors are sending their bitcoins to exchanges either to sell or to engage in other activities on exchanges.

Anthropic, the company behind Claude, has filed to list on Nasdaq under the ticker ANT, reporting $16.3 billion in revenue for the first half of 2026, compared with $1.16 billion a year earlier. Its potential valuation could approach $2 trillion, although the final offering price remains undetermined. The company also reported an $80.7 billion net loss, largely driven by noncash accounting adjustments. Beneath that headline, Anthropic's rapid revenue growth and positive operating cash flow demonstrate substantial commercial demand, while enormous computing commitments raise questions about long-term profitability. Why does this matter for $BTC? An IPO of this magnitude could become a major test of institutional risk appetite. Strong investor demand may reinforce confidence in growth-oriented assets, potentially benefiting Bitcoin through broader portfolio allocation and improved market sentiment. However, an aggressive valuation could also expose how much optimism is already priced into AI. If investors begin questioning future returns, technology stocks could face renewed selling pressure, with Bitcoin vulnerable to cross-asset deleveraging. There's another factor worth watching: capital allocation. A major AI listing could attract substantial investment away from other speculative assets, at least temporarily. The ultimate impact would depend on whether the IPO brings fresh capital into markets or redirects existing allocations. Anthropic's debut could influence the broader investment environment in which Bitcoin trades. The key signals will be IPO demand, Nasdaq performance, institutional $BTC flows, and Bitcoin's relative strength during any technology-sector volatility.

$XRP Open Interest Drops 28% - Is a Recovery Finally Coming? That's the question traders are asking after XRP's open interest on Binance fell to $445M, dropping below its 180-day average. Since September 22, open interest has fallen 28%, while XRP's price has dropped 17%, from $1.57 to $1.30, as traders cut their leveraged positions. Meanwhile, large wallets now hold 46.87B XRP (around 68.48% of the supply tracked by Santiment), the highest share since November 2022. That's the interesting part. Lower leverage could mean fewer forced liquidations, while growing whale holdings may suggest accumulation. Similar patterns previously came before rallies of 32% and 72%. But unlike $BTC, XRP still needs to prove it can hold $1.30 and move toward $1.50 before traders can talk about a stronger recovery

Bitcoin is becoming less volatile than people think. According to Grayscale, $BTC 's annualized realized volatility fell to 43%, below its 10-year average of 64% and the 81% recorded five years ago. It was also less volatile than Oracle, Coinbase, Honeywell, and SanDisk, ranking below roughly 19% of S&P 500 stocks in volatility. Bitcoin still carries risk, but the data challenges the idea that every major stock is automatically more stable than BTC.

Bitmine's Ethereum Treasury Is Closing In on a Major Milestone Bitmine (@BitMNR) purchased an additional 10,452 $ETH last week, bringing its total Ethereum holdings to approximately 6.05 million ETH. As of October 25, the company's Ethereum treasury was valued at around $14.3 billion, representing 4.95% of Ethereum's circulating supply. With this accumulation, Bitmine is getting closer to its ambitious goal of holding 5% of ETH's total supply. The company has also staked approximately 5.23 million ETH, with projected annualized staking revenue of $318 million. Its balance sheet includes another $514 million in cash and marketable securities, along with Bitcoin ( $BTC) and other investments. Despite Ethereum's recent price pullback, Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee (@fundstrat) remains optimistic, stating that the crypto bull market is already underway.

Longer-term money is already adding Bitcoin ETFs in Q3. Early 13F filings show some advisors building positions before the bulk of managers report. According to Galaxy Research (Alex Thorn), most large asset managers and RIAs file right before the Nov. 16 deadline. SigFig Wealth Management, a new filer, had clients add ~$73M in $BTC ETFs. A large share of its AUM comes from retail accounts at banks such as Wells Fargo, Citizens, Santander, and UBS. Key Details: > SigFig: +880 BTC equivalent (new), ~$73M > Beaumont: 668 BTC (-4) > Sloy Dahl & Holst: 519 BTC (-10) > Magnus: 438 BTC (+31) > Most big holders still unfiled; ~97% expected by Nov. 16 Filings are early, but the first longer-term money is already moving. That sets the tone if remaining reports confirm broader accumulation.

What a day and moment it is for Ripple/XRP. The final approval from the OCC for Ripple's National Trust Bank. This is a great and positive milestone for regulatory approval for XRP/Ripple. The price is up today, but I would expect that, in time, the price will climb even more. The market cap is sitting at 83 billion right now. Look for it to grow even more. The trading volume is at 1.5 billion, but that too will grow as more positive volume comes through the system now. Becoming a US national trust bank is only the beginning for Ripple and $XRP

$SOL continues to show strong network activity, busy trading platforms, and growing application revenue. Yet SOL is still trading below the $150 level. Here's what I'm watching • Strong Ecosystem: Solana continues to support DeFi, payments, meme coins, and other blockchain applications • Alpenglow Upgrade: Its focus on faster transaction finality could improve the network experience • Stablecoin Growth: Rising stablecoin activity could support further adoption • Key Challenge: Weak market liquidity may slow SOL's recovery, even with strong fundamentals The big question is whether fresh capital can help SOL move back toward $150 before late November. Solana has strong fundamentals, but price recovery still depends on market conditions and buyer demand.
