32. the sweetest remedy - Jane Igharo Not YA, but a mostly sweet romance with Nigerian / Nigerian-descendants protagonists A bit of the diaspora chiche a la jollof rice, ajegunle and Banana island wealth, but… not too shabby

31. While You Were Dreaming- Alisha Rai Sweet YA romance with immigrant/ undocumented family representation It was okay, but maybe I am too cynical and world-weary for this YA romance I am so determined to write bcos I couldn’t suspend disbelief enough to accept the storyline😏

Yeah, no!
It is not difficult to prove a writer used AI or not. Anyone who has done the difficult work without use of AI will have evidence - scrap books, drafts, notes, mind maps, flowcharts, photos, videos, etc. The fact that little to no effort is used by publications like The Atlantic to verify these and other claims is telling. Anyone who is accused thus can have a goldmine of evidence to produce in a rebuttal.

I’m very Nigerian about flowers, read “I go chop am?” But someone brought these in to work and I, inexorably, found my mood lifted

Thank you for asking, Stranger of Xwitter This month I thought I’d revisit Lara-Jean and her Peter. It’s interesting that I’d never read the books before, for all that I’ve seen the movies (and the spinoff show XO, Kitty) a bunch of times.
September dump,but books 🙂‍↕️📚!
