Kamila Valieva’s move to Eteri Tutberidze has not yet taken place.
According to my information for RIA Novosti Sport, the skater has not yet had a single training session with Team Eteri and, in fact, has only visited the training centre (CFK) once.
This is understandable: in the second half of October, Kamila was advised to limit her training loads for approximately a month. This means she could resume training within the next couple of weeks.
But the question is: where?
At this stage, I’m told that Eteri Georgievna remains the most likely option for Kamila, but nothing is guaranteed, and the transfer cannot yet be considered a done deal. The two sides still have to reach a final agreement.
And I would still leave some room for the possibility that the whole thing might fall through. A small possibility, but a possibility nonetheless.
