Common sense disclaimer: When it comes to any mental practice, experiencing breakthroughs takes time (but time will pass either way).
If it took you let's say 3 years of going to the gym, sleep maxing, macro maxing etc, to start seeing your shoulders pop, it will take some time to see your mind transform.
But the alternative is far worse.
This also brings me to the point that doing just ONE thing will NOT bring you results.
Only working on your attitude for example and reading 90 books about it, won't do much.
Reading 2-3 and religiously applying their principles for years, will.
“Your world is a living expression of how you are using and have used your mind.”
Everything you put into your mind throughout your day, shapes your life.
So choose them with even more caution than the food you eat each day.
If you know for example what a streamer ate for lunch and have no idea about your nation's history, you are cooked.
