dare i say the “ao3 good wattpad bad” led to this notion that ao3 has tons quality writing when in reality the two are more similar than they are different in terms of story’s.

i never agreed with the whole wattpad is trash and, ao3 is the holy grail of fanfic simply because wattpad has helped birth many young readers and writers. the site just sadly is a victim of capitalism and greed that all social media platforms go through.

Google announcing that schools banning AI will also lose access to Google Search is a pretty good opportunity to teach the next generation that Google isn’t the internet and that there are plenty of alternatives to its platforms. Maybe it’s time schools started exploring them.
