Last year, McLarenF1 needed relatively small cooling outlets thanks to its excellent thermal efficiency.
All teams have enlarged their cooling openings for the 2026 #MexicoGP, but the change is striking at McLaren, suggesting its previous advantage may have narrowed.

At the 2022 Spanish Grand Prix Williams set up a hair salon to spray hair red after it had brought success to Albon previously. Here he's applying paint to Williams CEO Jost Capito. Unfortunately it didn't bring much success to Albon in the race where he finished 18th.

A member of one of the Mercedes customer teams confirmed to Auto Motor und Sport that the (turbocharger) update is not intended for the current American triple-header. Therefore, it won't be used in São Paulo either.
If the race calendar is shortened, Mercedes would only have the opportunity to test the new turbocharger in race conditions at Las Vegas and Imola. The goal is to use the new engine this year. But time is running out.
