Digital collectibles, companies, and brands @dapperlabs @CandyDigital @PaniniAmerica @NBATopShot @NFLALLDAY @NHLBreakaway are missing massive money right now—and it’s hiding in plain sight.
Listen on 1.5 - 2x.
Retail figured this out decades ago:
60–80% of purchases at big box and grocery stores are unplanned
Amazon drives ~35% of revenue from recommendations (and the data of what buyers like and want is something that digital platforms really have an advantage over physical with).
But digital collectibles platforms still split everything up.
That’s like going to a store for a baseball glove…
then getting back in your car to drive 5 miles to the other side of town to buy a basketball.
It kills:
- impulse buying
- cross-selling
- collector momentum
Meanwhile Panini has:
👉 one login
👉 multiple sports
👉 constant cross-buying
Come for Messi → leave with LeBron. That success is reflected in their collector base and floor prices.
And we’re not even using the data yet:
- recommend what collectors actually like
suggest trades
- use data to help collectors complete sets
That’s another 30–50% upside on top.
Now combine that with:
- finite supply
- competitive collectors
- dopamine-driven buying
…and you don’t get incremental growth.
You get parabolic markets.
The Ohtani rookies are a great example. I bought 8 between $100 and $200 because I viewed @CandyDigital as a suppressed market above. The owner of the 17/ had bought it for $500 and his friend bought 8 more. That means there are 17 of the 24 not in packs locked up, and the floor is now $900. And that's in a down market for Candy before self custody or anything of the things above happen. Considering that Ohtani's physical /25 /50 rookies regularly go for $500k +- and there's a whole lot more of them overall, I'd say that these digital ones have a long ways to run.
We don’t need more assets.
We need:
👉 one marketplace w/ less friction for ease of use to increase buying among existing collectors and make it easy for new collectors
👉 better use of data to make buyer/seller recommendations
That’s when prices REALLY unlock 🚀🚀🚀
This is a ways off still, but the direction we are headed to and I do not plan to even consider selling before.

One theme that makes punks so fascinating is the exploration of the juncture of art, technology and commerce
Released as a free claim, and early example of art on chain, individual punks have since traded for millions of dollars
PNKSTR advances that narrative: an autonomous algorithmic token that perpetually buys and re-lists punks using trading fees accumulated from a fee on ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf token trading, buying and burning its own token in the process (when its listed punks sell the ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf protocol uses the eth receivd to buy and burn ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf)
The protocol currently holds 37 punks with 13.86% of its token supply burned to date
ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf launched in Sept 2025 and has never existed in a rampant bull market
It has created a perpetual bid on punks, and like a rising tide will push the punks floor higher over time
It is also a perpetual bid on its own token which encourages speculation
Speculation has been inherent to punks since the early days and isn't inherently good or bad
What's interesting is that as ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf supply declines, its autonomous bid every time one of its listed punks sells will likely make ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf holders increasingly reluctant to sell, while arbers try to game the system
As a derivative layer of speculation on the preeminent NFT collection, this is a fascinating experiment
A share of trading fees now also supports @nodefnd, adding a direct link between protocol activity and support for artists and exhibitions
This is a very positive and interesting development for punks, ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf and NODE

PSA slabs are becoming easier to crack and swap cards. 🤨
Should the industry finally move away from them?
The ticker is ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf ;)
NEWS: @nodefnd has accepted a donation of Punk Strategy, an onchain protocol developed by @token_works that uses token trading activity to acquire and resell CryptoPunks, then buy back and burn tokens
As its first move as steward, NODE has cut the protocol’s trading fee in half, from 10% to 5%
Let's get @RaoulGMI on the ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf wagon
I definitely believe ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf will break its ATH.
Last cycle we had ~2% supply burned, ~0 CryptoPunks, and 34 days between the tokens launch date and the biggest crypto liquidation event ever (10/10). In those 34 days, including patching two critical bugs, we ran up to ~$0.3 / ~300M MC.
This cycle we have:
• 13.85% burned - accelerating with more sales at these dirt cheap prices
• 37 CryptoPunks currently valued at ~$5M USD - all this capital buys and burns PNKSTR
• FakeWordAssets by TokenWorks with its own PunkStrategy Punk buying mechanisms - FWA has proven itself a very successful product and I think this platform has massive potential
• Flushed out literally everyone except long term holders over the past year of bear market - much healthier token distribution
PNKSTR has matured for over a year and expanded into an entire NFTStrategy / TokenStrategy ecosystem, all of which use a portion of their fees to buy and burn the token. I do believe the ecosystem will regain a lot of traction as capital continues flowing back into crypto markets.
Overall the fundamentals have remained concrete and the contracts have continued to work exactly as intended. This is what pulls me in so much. Regardless of hype, founder, or any else, as long as the ethereum network continues to operate, the perpetual punk machine will keep doing what it does:
• Buy punks
• Re-list higher
• Use proceeds to buy/burn $PNKSTR.
The Token Works.
Big deal way to go @Rhynotic @token_works
I’m proud to announce that we’ve donated ownership of the PunkStrategy contract to the NODE Foundation.
I view the contracts we create at TokenWorks as art. NODE is already the home of the CryptoPunks IP, and I think they’re the right people to carry this idea forward. Being able to donate PunkStrategy to them means a lot to me.
With this transfer, TokenWorks’ share of trading fees will now go to NODE, giving them a new revenue stream to support artists, exhibitions, and more. We think this is the best home for the project.
PunkStrategy runs autonomously and is designed to keep running for as long as Ethereum does. At the time of writing, the contract holds 37 Punks, which remain governed by its rules. The owner can only do three things:
* Set the trading fee on the hook between 1% and 10%
* Set the relisting multiplier for newly purchased Punks between 1.1x and 10x
* Claim the owner’s share of trading fees.
We’ll continue tweeting about PunkStrategy’s buys and sells and supporting the project. Both TokenWorks and I personally remain significant holders of PNKSTR.
The Token Works
Interesting stuff.
I'm legit curious on if @moonpay has an insurance policy in the event that they get hacked and lose the private keys, and in turn the hackers get access to the collectibles?
I've considered doing @Ledger insurance for crypto passwords but ultimately didn't because I felt safer storing it myself than risking that something happens.
There's always risk and this is a genuine question and genuine curiosity.
Another nice example of @tadtweets being able to quickly make something happen. Nice work!

This is a good little tool to play with to see what happens when the @cryptopunks sell.
The calculator is in the bottom right.
If the floor returns to 65 ETH we're looking at a 35x.
Honestly I thought I remembered the return being higher.
@RhythmKing knows all the math :) :) :)

Replying to @kashev
My bull thesis revolves around the CryptoPunks that PunkStrategy already holds.
Even if all hype dies down to zero, as it practically did over the past year of bear market, the contract still holds 37 CryptoPunks, and I'm simply betting on the success of CryptoPunks through the appreciation of their NFT floor over time. To be specific, I'm betting on CryptoPunks eventually reclaiming a 61 ETH floor, the price of the currently highest listed Punk by ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf.
You know what is so strange about collectibles?
Whoever wins the #worldseries, I'll have the 1/1 rookie lego of arguably their most collectible player (at least top 2) on that team with #Jacobmisorowski and #juniorCaminero.
I have no idea what anyone would pay for either of them at this moment with the recent @CandyDigital hack and the general state of digital collectibles at the moment.
I can't say I don't care because I need money to live, but I also kind of don't care because I just love owning both of them.
Each has a 1/1 digital rookie, the only one in the world, and I own both.
Collectibles have such an interesting and important part of human psyche.
P.S. I can say that based on offers I've gotten I'm more or less up on my collection as a whole, some pieces 10-12x just to put in perspective the improvement from a value standpoint for at least some pieces since fall 2025
I don't think anyone is going to be able to take the heart, personality, and celebration style out of #juniorcaminero
PunkStrategy treasury is currently valued at 2036.423 ETH / $4,860,199.50 USD.
All that money buys and burns ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf.
The catch? CryptoPunks need to appreciate in value over time.
That’s literally it.
Floor rises, Punks sell, Contract buys and burns $PNKSTR.
So the question to ask is: Do you see CryptoPunks appreciating in value over time?
Because I sure as hell do.

PunkStrategy bought CryptoPunk #1930 for 29.9825 ETH.
Listed for 32.9807 ETH.

I still love that ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf just bought another @cryptopunks and that ethereum:0xa0df17b5ac76ababa36e1450e2cbcd18a620c845 is about to buy a punk from ethereum:0xc50673edb3a7b94e8cad8a7d4e0cd68864e33edf
It's a virtuous cycle. Great work @token_works @Rhynotic
