I am a proud and bonafide Ekiti woman. I am proud of my land, my people, our culture, values, and education. My land is not a poor undeveloped backwater. Hold politicians responsible for their actions, don't insult my land. Ekiti will not be bullied. #ProudlyEkiti #Ekitikete

I am here for Dr Abdulfatah Ahmad. As a financial expert and a banker for decades, he improved and digitalised our tax system and widened the tax nets without inconveniencing the people, this led to the creation of KWIRS which made Kwara one of the top 10 states that generates highest revenue quarterly and yearly...

Lol The state that has Arinta water falls and Ikogosi warm spring doesn’t have tourism potentials?? What A Dolt!
Ekiti does not have tourism potential please, this is one false rhetorics that has gone on for too long. Can we successfully list 5 tourism attractions in Ekiti state ? All it has is Ikogosi warm spring, it doesn’t have costal path or a beach. The other thing might be Arinta waterfalls. It’s a very rocky state, the topography is very distinct and not friendly. No one is coming from diaspora to check out Ikogosi, it doesn’t have the population either, so taking long drives for a weekend out there feels overreach tbh. If you have an event in the state, then you can take a detour, but solely for tourism, it’s not worth it. Investors also need to be guaranteed they can recoup their capital, more reason they rather go and establish in Lagos that has the footfall.

Lol
We all love Ekiti State, and criticisms are borne out of genuine concerns; and you are so right in your assessment. Was in Ekiti few weeks ago, and I had to take a bike from Ajilosun to Fayose Market before I could get a simple phone charger on a Saturday morning!!

Where is this VIM for other states? Presidential election campaign was held in Ekiti and all of sudden Ekiti is the wild Wild West. This isn’t about calling the governor out or Not, but why should people of Ekiti be vilified for making their own electoral choices?
Call the governor out! Why should a village not have power for 2 years? You cannot invalide my experience with your own bad experience. I listed a lot of things but its only fried rice you people see. Subaru do better! Nigeria has all it takes to be great.
27
You can say this and it would still be relevant in almost all Nigerian states except few states. That you can’t get fried rice ingredients is your yardstick for condemning Ekiti. I served in Ibadan, my school was at agodi and they didn’t have light for over 2 years.
Me that just left there recently is telling you there is nothing working in Ekiti. The village I stayed there whole local government hasn't seen power in over 5 years. Few days to Christmas I wanted to buy ingredients for fried rice, I had to travel to Ado to buy carrot etc.

Who is this Idiot 😂😂😂
Tell me any Ekiti State governor who lived and had private investments in the state before and after active service. Fayose made his money through truck sales in Ibadan. Segun Oni worked with Rank Xerox in Lagos before going into public service. Fayemi started his career as a research consultant in Ikeja, Lagos and also have three real estates investments in Ibadan. Also, the biggest supermarket in Ekiti is Juli Supermarket, Ado-Ekiti, valued at just ₦23 million. You would have to travel all the way to Akure to shop at a major retail outlet like Shoprite. The biggest hotel is Prosperous Hotel on Iworoko-Ado Road, valued at just ₦65 million, plus the land. When it rains, you might have to wait a week before NEPA can restore electricity because NEPA would need to sundry Electric cables. I don't know the current state of their roads, but I remember that some of their major road projects took 12 years to complete. The Ado-Ekiti–Ifaki road, for instance, was under construction for 12 years, and I'm not even sure it has been completed. This is the state you are biasedly putting side by side with Anambra, the home state of Arthur Eze, Emeka Offor, Cosmas and Ibeto just because you want to be politically correct?

Because he renovated an hotel that has a value of 3.5billion with 27 billion naira. Because the roads in most places in ilorin are terrible, development doesn’t start and end on Ahmadu bello way. Because the youths are being bullied while their governor watches on.
