“her absence doesn’t linger over the plot” when she has genuinely been a mystery for 5 whole chapters and everybody refuses to acknowledge her or speak about her directly 😭 okay i guess

My issue with DessKnight is that the Dess mystery isn't an active enough force in the plot for her involvement with the Knight to be meaningful. Her absence doesn't linger over the plot in the same way say Laura Palmer or Claus from Mother 3. Mentions of her are too scarce. (1/2)
