the fundamentals of building Hermes bots (marketing edition)
bot mode is how you can easily run an agent marketing team inside hermes desktop. one bot per vertical, each with its own harness and the ability to send work to each other
but like any other agent, it still needs the same building blocks: context, harness, and loops
here's how each one block views up when you build a hermes bot:
1. context
context is what data and information you feed the agent. the model only works from the context window (the text it can see for one run), it remembers nothing from the last run
you pull that from a knwoledge layer (ex company brain). the brain holds past campaigns, strategy docs, offers, brand rules, voice rules, transcripts, and examples of what good looks like, a research bot can also pull external context, competitors, channels, and trends
a skill then decides which pages enter the context window for the current job. the content skill pulls in voice rules and examples, SEO skill pulls in the brief, SERP notes (search results page notes), and previous ranked content, campaign skill pulls in the offer, the ICP (ideal customer profile), and the last cohort's numbers. without the good context, you will just get sloppy generic output
2. harness
the harness is what lets the bot load a skill, call a tool, keep a file, and stop for your sign-off. models alone only generate text. in bot mode that harness is the bot itself
the harness pieces:
> model: cheap and fast for throughput, stronger for review and taste work
> skills: the procedures it loads for a job, steps, files to read, tools to call, what done looks like
> tools: what it can do in general, browser, file read and write, web search, local scripts
> connectors: hooks into your stack, CRM, CMS, search console, ad accounts, email, analytics
> memory: what it keeps between jobs, notes, progress logs, past outputs for that vertical
> role + voice rules: identity, what outcome it owns, what it never does
> control: timeouts, token budgets, sign-off points, what it can spend or send without you
example: the content bot can draft and queue. it cannot post live, send the sequence, edit the CRM, or move spend without a sign-off
3. loop/s
how the bot keeps working until the output passes the quality we want (the pass/fail checklist for the output). it drafts, a check scores the output against that rubric, and any miss goes back with the failing line named. you set the goal, the check, and the budget before it runs
content loops on voice and anti-slop. SEO loops on the writing brief and search position. a campaign loop tests variations, reads performance, adjusts creative..
loops also run as scheduled jobs, cron jobs that fire on a timer. daily SEO check. weekly content batch. nightly competitor scrape into the research bot. same loop, cron is the start signal
build from context out:
1, put company context in the brain
2, create one bot per vertical and attach its harness
3, add a loop with a clear done state, including cron where the job should run without you starting it
how to run an agent marketing team with Hermes Bot Mode
@NousResearch just shipped bot mode for hermes desktop
you can now run your marketing team inside hermes desktop, each bot specialised per vertical and with its own harness (skills, model, tools).
this lowers the skill needed to do marketing engineering by a lot
here´s what it is: your agent profiles become named bots. each bot gets its own role, model, memory, skills, tools, and pfp
bots can send work to each other, you are able to build specialists agents and reuse it across multiple campaigns
think of it as giving work to your marketing team inside the app, one bot per vertical, each bot becomes an expert in its own marketing vertical
each bot gets its own harness:
> model (cheap and fast for throughput, stronger for review)
> skills (the workflows it knows how to run)
> tools (only what each vertical needs)
> memory (what it remembers across jobs)
> role + voice rules from your company brain
the company brain is the shared context every bot can read, mine pulls in:
> transcripts and meeting notes
> chats and client threads
> previous campaigns and what worked
> learnings and strategy docs
> internal workflows and SOPs
> offers, pricing, and positioning
> brand rules and voice rules
> examples of what good looks like
outside that internal layer, a research bot can fetch and scrape external sources, competitors, channels, and trends
7 specialist bots you can create first:
> research bot, fetch external context from competitors, channels, and trends
> SEO bot, keyword research, briefs, internal links, and AEO (answer engine optimization) answers for chatgpt, claude, and perplexity
> content bot, trend research, drafting in your voice, and an editor pass with your anti-slop checks
> PR bot, story angles and pitches, your media database, and tracking placements
> paid bot, ad angles, creative in your format, bid changes, and the next test backlog
> CRO bot, test design and variant copy for landing pages and forms
> outbound bot, finding and enriching leads, outreach in your voice, and booking the meetings
they can send work to each other, example: content finishes an article, PR picks it up to pitch, outbound reuses it in outreach
how to create your own marketing team of agents (bots):
1. put your company context in the brain (campaigns, strategy, voice, examples)
2. create one bot per vertical
3. give each bot its harness (model, skills, tools, memory)
4. start with one job per bot and tighten from there
bot mode is still just the packaging tho, the moat is the context you put in: past campaigns, strategy, taste, and what good looks like

Team Null Pointers here. Me and @0xPrayers built our take on Hacker House Goa 2026.
Upload a pic, get a Builder ID or PFP frame, download and post in one pass.
Try it: hhgoa-idpass.vercel.app
Would mean a lot if you like + repost.

saw a few supermemory npc demos at <localhost:6767>. those are demos.
Memoir's the engine: persistent npc memory, persona locks, gossip network between npcs, no db code. built on @supermemory local.

we looked at mcp tools and realized something
they store memory
but they don’t understand it
so we built memron mcp
a memory engine that structures how agents think
sessions → patterns → knowledge → execution
your ai doesn’t restart anymore
it learns and compounds
AI today: resets every session.
@MemronAI ?
A memory layer where agents can learn, remember, and evolve.
Just getting started > building in public.
Project Spotlight: @MemronAI
Fixing AI’s biggest weakness: memory.
@MemronAI is building a decentralized cognitive memory protocol that gives AI agents persistent, evolving long-term memory instead of stateless chat history.
Today’s AI systems constantly reset context, forcing users and agents to repeat goals, preferences, and instructions,
Often leading to hallucinations, broken workflows, and inefficient multi-agent systems.
Built for developers and teams creating AI agents, autonomous workflows, and long-running intelligent systems.
Now building in public as part of Hack2Launch S2,
Memron is sharpening its integrations, narrative, and launch readiness as it prepares to go live with @CyreneAI
No fancy office.
No funding announcement.
No team of 20.
Just a laptop, a vision, and MEmronAI.
Starting from zero but not starting small.
kudos to @BuildiFi_AI for backing builders at the earliest stage.
Let’s build something that outlives trends.
Constructive vibes only. We evolving..

This is the phase where things get real. @DeMapp_AI is no longer something we talk about privately, it’s something we build publicly. The next updates will be code, systems, and results, not slides.
