Client: “It’s just a small change.” The small change: New authentication flow. Different database structure. Three new dashboard pages. A payment integration. A complete redesign. And the original budget is still the original budget.

If you could use one backend language among these for the next five years, Which would it be ? Typescript, GO, Java, Python, or Rust?
