@Apple is coming out with a touchscreen which is comical. Personally, I won’t rush to get one. Smudges drive me batty when I see them. I’ve never had one so I really don’t know how useful they are or if it’s just stupid. I’m leaning towards stupid.

The biggest thing that @bot has been doing for me is REA. I have reverse engineered and also figured out more about electronics projects, things I have wanted to do for a longtime, in the last month than i have since i first tried fussing with electronics. Granted i have had more time lately but it has been actually fun instead of frustrating.

I go through Desk Mats every month or two. I don't really care cuz they are like 8 bucks now. had the silicone one for a while but they just look stupid.

Added some text to the top of the Picture frame model. if you print just the text you can just double sticky tape it to the original frame. I am realizing my color choice of green looks terrible I am going to do Black and whit I think like the original. I also modeled the whole frame with the text but it will need a 300x300 bed.

AI regulation will make it so using it will be like going to the library now. All the models except a small limited few will always be out of tokens. If you want those tokens you’ll pay a premium price at the few bookstores left. You’ll also have the option of buying some from Amazon but those models will all be shitty Chinese knockoffs that you’ll not only have to pay full price for but you’ll have to have a subscription on top unless you want to pay even more for a terrible service.

Tell me we’re not being tracked. I have been going to Discount Tire for years and decided to try Mavis Tires, am very happy I did. Very next day I have been getting emails from Discount Tire a couple times a day. Possible that Mavis sold my info or the Bank is selling info on what I buy. It could also be that I searched Apple Maps and they’re selling my info. I didn’t search on Chrome because I was getting a flat and needed the closest place.

Do you think the larger 3d printing companies kinda want the new laws locking down printers? I only saw @Prusa3D talking about it but only when pressed. (there may be more companies that were against it but i'm talking about pritner manufacturers) Personally I think it only benefits them. They have been trying for years to become the "One" platform and now it's the law. Takes the onus off them cuz they "have" to now. it's been being set up for at least 5 years and why all the larger companies have their own model and utility sites. An all in one package ready to lock down and only allow their printers to use their site because that is all they can "control". By they I mean the larger manufacturers like Bambu, Creality, Prusa.
