My statement on Israel's decision to ban me and 10 other British MPs from entry.
"I have visited all parts of Palestine on several occasions, where I have witnessed the horrors of occupation, as well as the resilience and humanity of the Palestinian people.
They are the ones who suffer from Israel's apartheid. It is their freedom which is egregiously curtailed, alongside thousands of Palestinian refugees who are denied the right of return.
As the world wakes up to the genocide in Gaza, it is shocking that Israel continues to deny entry to UN investigators and international journalists. Israel doesn't want the world to see what it is doing - but we can never give up in our attempts to expose the truth.
That is the real scandal. Israel’s genocide cannot go unpunished - and I will keep speaking up for peace, freedom and justice for the Palestinian people."

If Sainsbury's have places for 10,000 'volunteers', why don't they provide the opportunity for 10,000 jobs? That would really be a boost to the jobs market!
10,000 paid jobs taken out of the market and replaced with free slaves. This is @andyburnham and the @UKLabour cucking to the billionaires, one of whom has donated £10 million to Labour.

The NHS cancelled all gender affirming surgeries in Wales. Those who had their appointments ripped away from them have been given a suicide hotline instead.
This happened because of transphobic pressure, and people will die because of it.

I remember going to the climate talks all the way back in 2009 and talking with Nepali activists and experts who were doing everything they could to sound the alarm that the “roof of the world” was melting and would start to crack in exactly these ways.
Events like the ones of this week aren’t just tragedies, they’re crimes. We’ve known for decades that the burning of fossil fuels would lead to disasters like this, but the industry and their politicians have continued to block action at every turn.
It’s past time we start making polluters pay for the damage they’ve done.
Climate experts have been predicting events like Nepal disaster for decades. By @jonathanwatts theguardian.com/world/2026/a…

Right now the government is putting our communities, our water security and our climate ambitions second to the demands of tech giants.
It's time to slam the brakes on water-guzzling, energy hungry datacentres.

These “jobs” at Sainsbury’s mean they won’t have to pay for Christmas temps after 3,000 workers being laid off last year. It’s a sick joke.

The future of Ireland is for the people of this island to decide, and for the people of this island alone.
It is not the right of any British Prime Minister to deny our people’s right to self-determination.
Today I met with Andy Burnham and directly challenged his anti-democratic comments on a referendum on Irish unity, which are completely at odds with the Good Friday Agreement.
The right to a referendum on Irish unity was guaranteed by the Good Friday Agreement, and that Agreement must be honoured.
I have full belief and confidence in the ability of all the people of our island to take full control of our own future and to build a new and united Ireland.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
GFA provides for a border poll when it appears likely that a majority in NI would vote for a united Ireland. Polling continues to show that’s not the case with 36% in favour. The PM is not denying self determination, his statement is in line with the GFA & evidence based.

This is so horrendous and upsetting.
The consequences of the climate crisis being felt often by those who have done the least to cause it.
Thinking tonight of all those affected and what we're doing to the world.
Walk down the high street you grew up on and count what's actually still there.
The Wilko's gone. The Argos is a vape shop. There's a Turkish barber where the bank used to be, and three units with "TO LET" peeling off the glass. The pub your dad drank in is flats now.
It isn't only nostalgia. Those units were jobs — Saturday jobs, first jobs, the kind you could walk into at sixteen and learn something in.
What replaced them mostly employs two people and sells things nobody needs.
Nobody is coming to rebuild it. Which is the quiet argument for building something of your own, because the economy that used to hand people a living locally doesn't do that anymore.
Britain has produced a generation of thirty-year-olds who can't afford to move out, can't afford to have children, can't afford to get ill, and can't afford to stop.
They did everything they were told. School, university, the debt, the graduate scheme, the promotion that came with more responsibility and £200 a month.
The reward is a life where every month is spoken for before it starts, with nothing left over to build anything that might eventually get them out.
A million people didn't independently fail. This is what a decade of flat wages against climbing costs actually looks like.

Is Google dumb? Or is it evil? Genuine question. The ability to fake satellite imagery with simple prompts was rolled out yesterday to all users & the potential harm is so blindingly obvious, it’s almost as if they’re profit-seeking chaos edgelords who simply don’t give a shit

Yeah this is bad. Unbelievably irresponsible and does immediate, catastrophic damage to the credibility of satellite imagery.
