I’m not spellchecking this. Consider it a stream or rough draft. I don’t care… do whatever you want with it . . Some artists are here patiently chipping away at the fabric of the universe…. Peering into the barely-functional humanity behind your next scheme. They haven’t devoted a second, not a single tick to your “member-only” token-gates. . . Some artists are so far beyond the ploys for attention, the advice sharing… the broadcast… that NFT guy, awash in his own self-congratulations, cannot even see them. Not like, “oh no I’m a poor artist I need another marketing tip and more visibility”. But like, “oh yeah no… I’m good… I don’t really hang out with tards” type of thing. Some artists are so uninhibitedly devoted to their craft that it just makes people uncomfortable. Not like Sam Spratt has a million bucks to build a monument game. But like, the guy without an ear lives in a war-zone and absolutely crushes ass from the bottom of the abyss without you ever having to know about it… type of uninhibited devotion. Deep deep down the rats in the race are disturbed… at a genetic level, literally… that somebody could be simultaneously so extremely advanced and so fundamentally bored by them. No games. No promises. No tiered rewards. It’s upsetting to meet a man who doesn’t have to put on a show to feel significant. Especially if you’re someone who believes the show must go on. It’s probably even worse to confront a being who can both see every one of your unconscious addictions and not care that you’re probably going to meet an early and miserable death. These guys… they don’t pass on success. They aren’t afraid if it. It’s just that the metric isn’t worshipped. They aren’t looking for a way to be a star and to join you in your ivory tower. They’re just simply better than all of it. They’re ahead of you… Literally waiting for you to evolve just enough so you might be able to taste a fleeting moment of genuine appreciation. And they’ll meet you there, in swirling abstraction, to kiss the only divine moment you’ll probably ever know and to drop a seed of vision down into the bottomless corridor of your pupil, knowing full well it may never reach your soul. Knowing full well you’ll most likely recoil into the coziness of an infantilized culture built be silly men to entertain undisciplined children toward another green candle. This is what some of them see
