I love this post!!
Basketball is something you do. It is not who you are.
Your self-worth is NOT determined by your ranking, offers, minutes, stats, or shoutouts.
Those things can feel really important. And it’s okay to want them! We all do.
So, yes… work hard, compete, and go after big goals. Just don’t lose yourself while chasing them.
You are a PERSON first. A PLAYER second.
No ranking, roster, coach, performance, post, or opinion gets to determine your value. Know who YOU are, with or without the game.
❤️🏀
Shoutout to our very own @ZeeBrawley on her first offer of many to play college ball at Schreiner University. Shoutout to @schreinerwbk @KendraCoach @Coach_AshlynnA for believing in her

When you have size, use it. @harriskenn27 owned the paint, controlled the boards, and finished around the rim. A dominant performance from our big at @UARiseGirls in Ohio – at Hamilton, OH

There is nothing more important being in a place where you feel valued and where you truly feel you can make an impact.

I’ve been called out. So now I’m calling all the campers out. You can’t guard and you’re probably too small.
So when I give out 1v1s. I don’t want to hear Coach Mo didn’t let me score. 😭😮💨😝👩🍼🤏
Good job McKinna. More to come!!!
After a great weekend at Run4Roses and many conversations with Coach Helton, I'm blessed to receive an offer from Rend Lake College!

Key takeaways from days 2 & 3:
1. PLEASE stop picking up your dribble in the short corner. The ball dies there.
2. If you need MORE than 3 dribbles to get by someone, pass & cut.
3. FLOOR SPACING MATTERS.
4. Good passers make GREAT shooters
5. Make rebounding efforts EVERY TIME!
