an entire world of experience opens when you add one more dimension, this is a really good time to revisit diegetic ui
Notes from day 6 of DAU-pilling @onbashtv:
- This was my first time actually paying attention to a real-time/live chat/building session (like a "live stream") of someone building with the agent in real time. Very cool/fun to see the live chat with other people chatting with @dhof, you actually feel the community and it non-trivially enhances the experience. You kind of just want to stick around to chat with folks
- The harness is so interesting because I have not yet built something that's "broken". Everything that's created/prompted "works" automatically
- Everyone's spaces/artifacts are meant to be multiplayer so the rest of the community can participate...like different rooms at a house party where you pop in and out
Notes from day 5 of DAU-pilling @onbashtv:
- Easily one of the coolest features is that the "users" are global
- When you create a game and you want it to be multiplayer, all of the logic of allowing other players on Bash to be stored/state/etc. are already wired in
- It's the same when you play a game, your Bash user ID is used for all of the other games on the platform
- TLDR: all of the social/multiplayer stuff happens across every artifact/space automatically. Very cool! Probably the most compelling multiplayer/social part of Bash so far
Notes from day 2 of DAU-pilling @onbashtv:
- They literally changed their home page to be much better than the one I saw on Friday, team ships really fast
- The apps/artifacts are actually much higher-quality than I'd expect
- They do a really good job with the social components, I feel like the platform is "alive", subtle things like the social metrics/icons/pfps, live chat, etc. make me feel like other people are there with me
- I'm still fairly passive consumer right now, I'll try out new games and spend no more than 2 minutes on each one, have yet to find one I would come back to/sink my teeth in, but I'm getting a glimpse of what's possible
Notes from day 1 of DAU-pilling @onbashtv:
- Social, multiplayer AI artifacts/media/game(?) creation platform
- First impression on homepage, wasn’t too enticed to click on something at first but very straight forward UX, seems like the majority of the content are games so far
- When you click around to explore, it's way more consumer friendly than any other AI social/multiplayer product I've seen recently
- The first game I played was called Trash Beat and it was surprisingly really high quality for what I expected
- I'm realizing this is going to be a tad of a behavior shift for me, will rewire my brain for the coming week
- Feels nice

Bash is pretty fun - built a multiplayer bird watching game this am in a few prompts. My home instance of BirdNet triggers webhooks which spawns birds.
Support for silly hats, calling birds, shushing your fellow birdwatchers, and leaderboard for most species spotted.
excited to share a new toy called bash. it’s a multiplayer coding agent with social built around it
starting with invites and a waitlist, and we’ll open it up as quickly as possible
