I've seen this question asked a lot, but what would you do if your club cheated in the same way Man City did? I would honestly feel so let down and disappointed. Whilst the fans will have to suffer I would accept the punishment handed down because the only people to blame are those in charge. Many City fans have gone into defence mode after spending so long backing the club and saying “innocent until proven guilty”. One day they will wake up and accept that they are not above the laws of the game and they have cheated to achieve success. Whilst you can't take away their memories, all of it will forever be tarnished and not worth anything. Instead of being angry at other clubs and fans for condemning it. Blame your owners for embarrassing the game we love and dragging your club's name through the mud. You're guilty. You cheated. You deserve serious punishment as a result.
