To harness the arcane energies required to power transmutation, Alchemists learned to implement the use of ancient and primordial gems ⚗️ Gathered from all reaches of the galaxy these gems ensured critical stability to the volatile dynamic states.

With the emphasis on balance, equilibrium, and an appreciation of the required alignments, Alchemists hold a deep respect for precision timing ⚗️ Accordingly, alchemical artifacts increasingly featured delicate instruments in order to provide stringent and exacting measurements.

Gathering these elements in abundant quantities was a monumental task for Alchemists of old ⚗️ Only the pure, raw, or transmutable element forms would suffice. Metals, precious stones, and gems thus became key components for creating alchemical artifacts.
