We were really robbed of our history when apartheid.
The content of this page is what I should have learned in grade 7 History, not the nonsense that is the “Great Trek” cause it was utterly useless to me.
Adam Kok I (c. 1710-1795) was a prominent figure among the Khoikhoi and San people of southern Africa. As the founder of the Griqua nation, he played a significant role in the region's history. Initially, Kok was an enslaved person, but he was later released. He went on to become the leader of a diverse group comprising Griquas, Namaquas, and others, and acquired substantial herds of cattle and sheep. As a patriarch, Kok had numerous descendants, and most of his followers were of Khoikhoi descent. His legacy is still celebrated today, with places like Kokstad named in his honour. His descendants also established Griqualand-East and Griqualand-West, further solidifying his impact on the area's history.

[WEARING OF BUFFS WITH UNIFORM: MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE SERVICE]
Wearing of buffs by police officials is not allowed. This practice is contrary to the code of conduct for the South African Police Service, as it hides police official's identity.
ONLY specialised units deployed for specified operational purposes may wear buffs, that is Special Task Force (STF), National Intervention Unit (NIU) and Tactical Response Team (TRT) during official and approved operations.
Under no circumstance may the South African Police Service emblem be imprinted on the buff.

& thats the thing with addicts. If they don’t personally ask for assistance, force feeding them rehabilitation will unfortunately always lead to a relapse. Until they’re ready, leave ‘em be.
