#obviously I know that death affects people. but my grandma died when my mom was in her 50s(grandma in her 80s) and i was like ok that seems like enough time. but I was wrong and she has not been the same since my gma died and that was 10yrs ago.
This makes sense cuz when you think of the pool scene, she’s so drunk, her guilt does come out. She’s throwing up and crying cuz she was fully understanding the gravity of her fuck up and the alcohol is allowing the emotion to over ride her default of me me me.
If you sat Cassie down and explained to her that she was being selfish, she is the type of person who would take that criticism, but would not really know how to avoid making the same mistake again.
A good example is in season 1 when she is on the couch with McKay. He is opening up to her about important things in his life and how he is struggling, and her first instinct is to get sexual with him. Naturally, he gets annoyed. Cassie realizes she did something wrong, but she does not actually understand what the problem was. All she knows is that McKay is upset, not why he is upset or what she should have done differently.
That is what makes her character frustrating. She is not trying to be evil, she just lacks the emotional awareness to respond the right way, so she keeps repeating the same mistakes.
It’s amazing how the Epstein files talk horrifically about trans ppl, and rather than seeing that and getting angry at the pedophilic game runners, it’s “let’s just get mad at each other cuz it’s easier”

Sonic fans are a lot more fun when they stop whining every five seconds that he wouldn’t do xyz and realize every rendition of sonic is the equivalent of Twitter artists adding headcanons to a character, that all simultaneously keep the same core traits of said character
