Fifth reason your website might not rank: 0 interlinks. A page nobody links to is an orphan. Google finds it through fewer paths and picks up almost no signal about whether it matters. So it sits there, unranked. The fix is simple. Point other pages at it with real anchor text.

4th reason your site isn't ranking: Weak or Missing Keyword Targeting. Drop your topic into Ahrefs and grab the phrasing that's actually pulling searches. Build the page around those terms and let them sit where they belong. Stuff the keywords and you'll read like a robot, so don't.

3rd reason your website may not be showing up in google: The Page Targets the Wrong Search Intent. Here's the fix. Search your target keyword before you write a word. If page one is all how-to guides and you're building a service page, you've already lost. Match the format that's winning.

If your website isn't ranking, another reason could be that you have thin content. Google rewards matching search intent. Look for competitor gaps by searching the keyword you're targeting and seeing what top-ranking articles are saying, and the types of articles they are. Then match.

1. First, Make Sure Google Can Even See the Page. Search site:direction.com/website-not-ra… in Google, and if the page comes back, you're set. If not: Open Google Search Console and re-submit your sitemap. Then, check your site to make sure there's no stray noindex Tag or a Robots Block.
