So I recently badgered my cinematographer @steveyedlin into making my ideal iPhone still camera app. It shoots RAW, bypasses the iPhone's look processing and instead uses the same image processing we use on our movies. apps.apple.com/app/apple-sto…

Ghostty 1.4 is now out! Full Kitty graphics with animation (the first terminal besides Kitty to do it), scrollback compression for much lower memory usage, macOS 27 support, a new OpenGL renderer on Linux, ghostty +ssh, big performance gains, and hundreds more changes.
The highlights:
- Scrollback compression: scrollback compresses ~90+% on average, meaning your terminals use that much less live memory
- Huge memory savings across the board: no single large thing, just lots of good improvements lowers memory usage everywhere, netting anywhere from 50 to 90% less memory usage depending on workload
- Kitty graphics is now 100% complete, including animation and relative placements, after a full conformance pass against the spec and Kitty itself
- The Kitty clipboard protocol, with an image preview when a program asks to read your clipboard
- Split drag and drop on Linux, including between windows
- ghostty +ssh installs terminfo on remote hosts automatically, so things just work over SSH
- Lots of terminal emulation accuracy fixes
This release is 7 months of work from 172 contributors over 2,889 commits. It also fixes 10 security advisories, so please update.

Setahun lebih kami dikriminalisasi. Ribuan halaman berkas, ratusan jam sidang, puluhan saksi kami eksaminasi.
Lelah? Tentu. 15 bulan tanpa pemasukan, tabungan 15 tahun terkuras.
Menyerah?
👉🏼 Membandingkan belasan ribu kesaksian tertulis antar saksi
Tapi kami ngga punya pilihan lain.
Padahal, putusan hakim sendiri mengakui Ibam ngga menerima keuntungan apa pun.

Muse Spark 1.3 is gone from the free OpenCode lineup.
here’s what i’d replace it with:
1. planning → GLM 5.3 Flash
it’s slower, but i prefer it when the task is well-defined and i want a more structured plan first.
2. building → DeepSeek V4.1 Flash
this is still my default for implementation. faster, more creative, and better suited for actually pushing code.
3. long-context work → Space Bunny
the big advantage is the 1M context, especially when 200K on DeepSeek starts forcing compaction too early.
4. backup → MiMo 2.6 Flash
i’d use it when DeepSeek gets too steer-heavy or starts producing weird implementation decisions.
5. best free combo → GLM plans, DeepSeek builds
that’s the cleanest Muse replacement right now.
Muse was really good.
but the free stack is still very usable if you split the roles properly.

a few more things i’ve learned replacing Muse Spark 1.3 in OpenCode:
1. DeepSeek V4.1 Flash can last me ~8 hours of work before i hit the daily free limit, as long as i’m not constantly spawning subagents.
2. the 200K context cap is manageable, but i usually hit compaction several times during a long session. for bigger repos, that matters.
3. when context starts becoming the bottleneck, i switch to Space Bunny for the 1M window instead of forcing DeepSeek through repeated compactions.
4. for planning, i still prefer GLM 5.3 Flash, but i don’t use it for everything. on simple build tasks, it can take 2–3x more turns than DeepSeek.
5. if DeepSeek starts making weird implementation choices, MiMo 2.6 Flash is my fallback before i jump to a paid frontier model.
right now my free stack is basically:
GLM → plan
DeepSeek → build
Space Bunny → long context
MiMo → backup

Safe to say that it's pretty much done, feel free to try it out! I've been using it myself everyday without issues.
Sorry, no fancy opus video since this is just a youtube music client, nothing fancy about it :p
It just takes way less resource.

We had a security breach last night related to a large scale distillation attack that impacted 1.4% of OpenCode Console users
We have notified them all this morning via email. If you did not get an email you were not impacted, it was a subset of users who had external providers linked
The incident is ongoing so we cannot share more details at this point but we are working with Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google to remediate

🚨 Indonesia’s stock market crashes over -11% recording its biggest crash since 1998.
MSCI is considering downgrading Indonesia from an "emerging" market to a "standalone" market.
A standalone downgrade could force global funds to sell Indonesian stocks, triggering billions of dollars in outflows.
The move comes amid concerns over market transparency concentrated ownership and trading integrity.
The announcement triggered a massive sell-off and forced a temporary trading halt.
The Indonesian rupiah falls to 18,070 per dollar, nearing its record low of 18,190.

Alhumdulilah, something very special to share today! We’ve been collaborating with @quran (Quran Foundation) to help lead the redesign of Quran.com and its family of services, which are now live.
Our shared intention was to develop beautiful interfaces into revealed knowledge and guidance. To create inviting, thoughtful experiences for diverse individuals, organisations and communities to understand and apply timeless Islamic wisdoms in our digital, increasingly AI-driven era.
Heart-centered design requires framing our work as an amanah (responsibility). In my design practice of around 25 years, I have rarely come across more humble, considerate, dedicated souls than those found at the Quran Foundation team. I am deeply honoured to be involved.
May God bless the efforts of our teams and enable this project to benefit many hearts, insha’Allah.
