We just released a new version of Kitten TTS - 15M param SOTA tiny text-to-speech model It has a significant quality improvement over the previous version. Still less than 25MB in size! Open-source, extremely tiny, expressive. github.com/KittenML/KittenTT… Apache 2.0

Today, we’re excited to launch the Datology Curation Studio, customizable frontier data curation for every team training its own models. Data quality is the ultimate compute multiplier, and Curation Studio makes it easy for everyone.

Two months ago, TerraByte AI came out of stealth with a simple belief that the Earth should be as searchable as the web. If you can describe it or show it you should be able to find it. We’re expanding TerraByte to our first 1,000 users. Sign up during the research preview and get free search access before paid plans launch. Search satellite imagery in plain English or with an image

Gaussian Pixel Codec Avatars: A Hybrid Representation for Efficient Rendering Abstract (excerpt): GPiCA utilizes a unique hybrid representation combining a triangle mesh and anisotropic 3D Gaussians. This combination maximizes memory and rendering efficiency while maintaining a photorealistic appearance. - The triangle mesh is highly efficient in representing surface areas like facial skin. - The 3D Gaussians effectively handle non-surface areas such as hair and beard. To this end, we develop a unified differentiable rendering pipeline that treats the mesh as a semi-transparent layer within the volumetric rendering paradigm of 3D Gaussian Splatting. We train neural networks to decode a facial expression code into three components: 1. A 3D face mesh, 2. An RGBA texture, 3. A set of 3D Gaussians. These components are rendered simultaneously in a unified rendering engine. The networks are trained using multi-view image supervision. Our results demonstrate that GPiCA achieves the realism of purely Gaussian-based avatars while matching the rendering performance of mesh-based avatars.

How do we teach LLMs not just to reason, but to reflect, debug, and improve themselves? We at AWS AI Labs introduce MURPHY 🤖, a multi-turn RL framework that brings self-correction into #RLVR (#GRPO). 🧵👇 Link: arxiv.org/abs/2511.07833

We have launched on YC!
Stellon Labs (@stellon_labs) is an AI research lab building tiny frontier models that can run on any edge device. In just three weeks, they trained KittenTTS, a super-tiny speech model(<25MB), that got 8K Github Stars with 45K model downloads. ycombinator.com/launches/OEv… Congrats on the launch, @divamgupta & @ron_joshi!

Announcing it a little late, but excited to share that I got into YC S25! I've always been super passionate about on-device AI and have always wanted to start a company. So we're building @stellon_labs, where we create tiny frontier models that can run on edge devices. Some interesting highlights from the journey: - Launched KittenTTS - an open-source text-to-speech model that hit 8k stars in just 2 weeks - Met and talked with several OG people in the startup world - Pivoted 3 times! If you're a founder, I'd highly recommend applying to YC. It will definitely change the way you think about things.

I've left Meta Reality Labs. Miss working with the best team for realistic avatars. Damn, I definitely miss using thousands of GPUs and running super large-scale training experiments. Now back to being GPU poor, but excited to start something new: building tiny AI models for edge devices, so that we can push the limits of local intelligence.

We launched on possibly the worst timing ever - right when OpenAI, Google DeepMind, and Anthropic all had major releases. Somehow we still made it to #1 on Hacker News. Thanks to everyone who checked us out! 🙏

Someone deployed it on a browser within few hrs! xitter.cf/divamgupta/status/1952…
The open-source community is amazing. We released a tiny TTS model under 25MB. And someone made a web-browser demo within few hours. Yes, its running locally in the web-browser Thanks clowerweb!

ARC-AGI-3 preview is out It consists of a few games which AI agents can play. It's a good test of few shot learning, generalization and adaptation to new scenarios. > No instructions given to AI > Easy for humans, but hard for AI For perspective: most RL algos have to play the same game thousands of times. And they have no generalization on variations. Kudos @fchollet, @mikeknoop and team on the launch!
