615 am | The Portland Airport recorded 0.02" of rain ending it's streak of days without measurable rain at 67...just 4 days shy of the longest streak on record set in 1967. Other recent long dry streaks include 57 days in 2017 & 51 in 2012 & 2021. #pdxtst #orwx #wawx

Was on a zoom today with 3 French winemakers. They were together on a boat, on a lake, heading to a restaurant. After their strict national lockdown, they’ve regained a semblance of normality. Here in the USA, no discipline, no plan, and nothing to show for it but more deaths.
