CV1k core was the first core I built using AI agents. I plan to write an article later explaining how I used it to handle the hardware architecture and two sub-projects, how I worked with the actual hardware, and how I was ultimately able to push the MiSTer FPGA to its limits.

Saber Riders and the Star Sheriffs for the Dreamcast. Beautiful side-scroller that plays like a mix of Contra and Sunset Riders, based on the 1980s animated series. In 2015, a KS campaign reached its goals to bring this game to Sega's hardware. Dreamcast was the most popular physical platform among backers. By 2019, the project disappeared. A few days ago: a fan reconstruction of the lost game was released by a developer going by 'gameblabla'. There's also a Saturn build to investigate. I loved this cartoon growing up (together with the similarly themed Galaxy Rangers), and this is a very interesting story with many unanswered questions. Like, what about the original backers? そして「コレ」を見てきました。思った以上に、いや……めちゃくちゃデカい。おかげで安定感素晴らしい。触り心地も良い。 ソフトウェアのチューニングによってはマジ神デバイスになるのではないだろうか。 改めてこれ4万はかなり頑張ってると思う。
