As you can see Tesco fruit also have the sprayed chemicals. But they don’t have a warning on them that the peel is not safe for consumption…. This is because Lidl is following EU label guidelines! They don’t have to give us the warnings on the UK label! They can spray whatever chemicals they want on the fruit as long as they tell us. Whereas the EU must say it’s not safe
So just remember that when you zest your fruit! Or leave peel in water.

Our food system runs on fossil fuels.
From synthetic fertilisers and pesticides to long-distance supply chains, it depends on oil and gas.
And the UK government is still subsidising the very industries driving this dependence.
This must end. Act now: bit.ly/4ssZT1Z

🚨A renewed push for mandatory shared care is being sold as fair and child-centred.
Its neither.
It is a pushback against moves to prioritise safety over contact. Most private law cases involve domestic abuse. Forcing equal time in those cases doesn't protect children, it creates ongoing proximity to an abuser.
Children are not units to be divided equally. They need to be safe.

Big jump in Woodcock observations on @BirdTrack this week.
New arrivals will melt into the British & Irish landscape, feeding at night in fields and woodland.
Lots more birds still to come, I reckon.

A juvenile Glaucous Gull at Allasdale this morning was our first of the season on Barra. White-wingers have become much scarcer here in the past few years. Also of note, 2 Pom Skuas heading SW past Cleat first thing along with hundreds of Kittiwakes.

I know it’s shocked you already, but thus far the BBC has only revealed a fraction of the appalling scandal of how Brighton children and their families have been treated.
You see, it didn’t start at the ‘gender’ clinic.
No!
It started at school, and in other forms of social grooming.
It was nurtured by counselling sessions with one agenda from which parents were excluded.
Children were told by counselling to ignore their parents.
If the BBC wants to tell this story properly- to show they’re serious journalists- they need to start at the very beginning…
They must do this to protect other young people and their families from destruction.
Happy to point them to where to go for information.

I’m expecting the Education part of this story to then be brought up by the BBC social affairs team. This is NHS story is the clinic bit of the “classroom to the clinic” pathway operated by our institutions.

Samantha Niblett talking absolute hypocritical bollocks again by suggesting an All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) will attract an echo chamber because it's being chaired by Rosie Duffield- someone she disagrees with, hence why she won't attend! 🤦🏻 #parody

What I find so nauseating about this clip is how seriously Watson takes herself.
The members of the progressive woke supremacist cult seriously believe they are disciples of righteousness; that it’s impossible they could be wrong.
And so, with astonishing narcissism, Watson - a mediocre actress not overburdened with insight - portrays herself as bearing an overflowing heart, and carrying terrible burdens of conflicting emotions.
Let’s remember what this is about.
@jk_rowling has been fighting for sex-based rights that have underpinned safeguarding for decades to be maintained and protected.
Watson, meanwhile, has placed the demands of trans-identifying men ahead of her own biological sex, and utterly betrayed Rowling, who has been subjected to horrific abuse and death threats for daring to speak up for women.
Yet Watson portrays herself here as a saintly figure who somehow, within her unimpeachable soul, may be able to find it in herself to acknowledge some of the debt she owes to a mentor without whom she’d be nothing.
It’s a shame she was ever cast in the Harry Potter movies. Had she been passed over, we wouldn’t now have to endure this painful, self-regarding garbage.

All things Harry Potter are literally trans kryptonite 😂 and it doesn’t matter how much they yell & scream, everybody fucking loves Harry Potter🤩🦉🪄ergo everyone is ‘wtf are these people insane’? This is a perfect example of ‘listen to trans people’.

Everyone involved in this war, dare I say it, from both sides of the trenches, should read @terfdiarist - it’s an invaluable documentation of, as it turns out, only a fraction of the lunacy. But crystal clear examples of how insane it all became.

Halloween artificial cobweb material:
It may be a bit of fake fun for you, but it's a very real and terrifying death for them.
And it's not only birds.
Last year I had my first call of the season of a hedgehog trapped in this horrific fake 'cobweb', made especially for gullible halloweeners to spread over their greenery, trapping all unsuspecting birds, insects and mammals, including hedgehogs.
The fine synthetic fibers are difficult for animals to see and can quickly wrap around their legs, spines, and neck, leading to severe injuries.
When a hedgehog struggles to free herself the web tightens, cutting off circulation and causing deep wounds.
These constriction injuries often lead to permanent damage or death.
Unfortunately the call was from Manchester, so all I could do was talk them through getting the poor creature to a rescue.
Clearly she had been trapped there for at least one night, and her struggles had pulled the strong nylon strands so tightly that one of her toes had been amputated.
Can you imagine the pain and the sheer terror?
And then seeing dawn approach, while hanging there, tightly bound and helpless.
Aside from being stressed, dehydrated, starving and exhausted to the point of near death, she also had horrific bite/peck wounds to her face, where she had been held there, helpless, unable to curl and defend herself, while a predator tried to eat her alive.
If you have used this deadly cruel trap to 'decorate' your garden, please take it down now.
Please don't be conned by the greedy makers and sellers of this rubbish into hurting defenceless animals.

Note that the Conversion Practices bill will do the opposite of what is required here.
Police, schools, social workers, the courts, will not be on the lookout for parents who bring up their little boy as a girl. They will be on the lookout for the parents who don't.

Cass presented a composite case of such a child, 'Jo', in the House of Lords in June. We knew there were more Jo's being seen at the new gender clinics. Now we know there may be as many as twenty.
