Javits Frimpong, a 15-year-old Ghanaian boy, was shot and killed while reportedly walking to school in the Bronx, New York, on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
CCTV footage captured the moment Javits was running for his life shortly before he was fatally shot. His father, Thomas Frimpong, disclosed that the schoolโs principal had informed him three days earlier that two students had been bullying Javits and had been suspended for a week.

It is not lost to anyone with a memory how white racists instinctively seek Zulu nationalism, as a partner in their quest to divide and conquer. I hope those who lost relatives, were maimed and lost property in KZN, the East Rand, those who survived the violence on trains and hostels, will speak. The Zulu nation, a proud "member" of South Africa's rich tapestry, will tell us if they approve of right wing SA's renewed interest in them. And the rest of South Africa? Apartheid South Africa's financial and security support for the IFP cost this country dearly. Do we want that again?

Xhosa people are not Colored or mixed race but we are genetically related to virtually every ethnic group in RSA and many in Africa. We are coastal people who are related to many seafaring nations of Asia and Europe the past 1000 years. We are directly related to AbaThwa and amaLawu.
Even if you say you are Zulu or moSotho, you are likely related by blood or marriage to Xhosa people. But we are not confused about who we are. Our surnames come from many roots and languages but we are not confused. So we must be the last people to support racism, black on black violence and anti-African sentiment and practice.
