The left curve bitcoiner portfolio (stack sats because number go up) will likely outperform the mid curve TradFi portfolio (60/40 diversified). However, I don't trust the opinions of the left curve bitcoiners on protocol design, decentralization risks, or cryptography.

I found a SIM implant in my friend's @Ledger Flex. He set it up but never used it, so no funds were lost. He bought it from @cryptobilis at their May 22 2026 Global Pizza Party, Raintree Club Kuala Lumpur. nRF9151 LTE module, eSIM module, v1.1 UFL antenna cc @MagicalTux
Can anyone who bought Ledgers from @cryptobilis confirm (either by replying here or DMing) that their wallets got drained, disassembled their devices and found a SIM implant in it? It seems like the only victims affected are those who bought from shady Lazada merchants, not CB

Franklin Templeton just found a way to get bitcoin to people who'd never in their wildest dream would buy it. Two ETFs registered on Nasdaq this week offering 95% big US stonks + 5% bitcoin. Every dividend the stocks pay buys more BTC. Boomers were always going to own bitcoin through an ETF without touching it. Now they don't even have to actively press buy because reinvesting dividends is a habit they've trusted their whole lives. That's how you sell anything new: Offer it with something people already like and let it ride. Honestly genius.

‼️ BREAKING: The private keys of 8 certificates from Indian certificate authority eMudhra were compromised, Mozilla says. Firefox blocked them within 3 hours. Each key should be a 116-digit number, but one was just 4. Anyone can guess them and forge HTTPS certs for any website.

Peg operations are resuming for @Liquid_BTC. The external security audit is complete and looks good. Additional hardening measures are also done. Liquid users are now able to peg-out via @side_swap and @AquaBitcoin. The ~600 BTC shortfall will be added to the Federation wallet in the coming days. Everything is almost back to normal! 🙏🏻🌊
Liquid Network Restoration Update With key technical milestones completed and network operations stable, user swap functionality is now restored with semi-automated swaps for Federation members. Normal peg and balance validation will be reinstated soon. The Liquid Network’s members appreciate the broader Bitcoin community’s support and advocacy as we work to not only provide the restoration, but also harden the network’s security structure. blog.liquid.net/liquid-netwo…

Announcing LayerTree: a new tree-based scaling solution for Bitcoin that permits O(1), independent of the number of users in the system: xitter.cf/lightning/status/21108… A single UTXO can hold the balance of millions of users as an off-chain Merkle-sum tree. Transaction introspection techniques permit batched exit from the system in a single transaction w/o any pre-signing: layertree.tech
Introducing LayerTree, a non-custodial scaling solution on bitcoin that connects to Lightning. Using covenants, one UXTO can be shared by a million users. Any user can leave at any time in a single transaction. Users don't need to be online to receive. Funds never time out. LayerTree is the next step in bringing bitcoin to billions. vitalik.eth "public-key encryption cannot be done with hashes alone" 1976 Merkle paper disagrees hashcash.org/papers/merkle-p… involves an interactive proof of work like property, costs the attacker n times more. (not that asymmetric, but simple to understand first public key scheme).

The idea that paying off a fixed long term non-callable low interest loan gives you "peace of mind" is nonsense. You should never have peace of mind from making bad decisions. A mortgage can be paid off but you still have to pay maintenance and taxes forever (and these rise, unlike a fixed mortgage payment). You don't have to be very bullish to expect bitcoin to exceed the interest rate on your mortgage.

Is homeschooling good? Depends on the home. Is home cooking good? Depends on the cook. Good if many people move to your country? Depends on who they are. Buy stocks? Depends which ones. Should you buy "crypto"? Depends if it's bitcoin or not.

Bitcoin's consensus rules have never been written down outside of code. The only authoritative answer to whether a block is valid has been whatever Bitcoin Core does. So every independent node has had to shadow Core instead of building against a shared reference, and the ones that drifted became chain-split risks. The Orange Paper is a formal mathematical specification of Bitcoin's consensus rules. Signature validation, UTXO accounting, script execution, and block structure are defined precisely enough for any mathematician, engineer, or court to read and check. Bitcoin Commons (@BtcCommons) has spent the past 12 months building a from-scratch Rust node against it. Z3 checks consensus paths against the spec on merge, and differential replay compares the node to Core across 900,000+ mainnet blocks. The spec belongs to everyone. Any implementation can verify itself against it, Core included, and each one that does makes Bitcoin harder to capture through a single codebase. thebitcoincommons.org

The first COVID stimulus check was $1,200. At the time, that bought ~0.18 BTC. The proposed check is $5,000. Today, that buys only ~0.06 BTC. More than 4x the dollars per check, yet roughly 1/3 as much Bitcoin. You are running out of time.
BREAKING: Trump now says his $5,000 "Trump Dividend" would go to every U.S. citizen if Republicans win the midterms. On September 9, he promised it to "every adult citizen." With 316 million citizens, that is $1.58 trillion.

I remember the original Eligius pool had a high payout threshold that could take many weeks to meet. Which makes sense since you want to limit the onchain fees that eat into your mining rewards. Imagine if you could receive offchain bitcoin much more frequently with ~no fees. Ark payouts basically unlock an entire new class of lower power mining hardware that can generate actual payouts now. It makes those clever water heater style setups or Bitaxe microminer thingies more feasible. Plus a VTXO grants you access to Lightning if you want to spend your mined sats. It's just overall a great fit for mining pools.
I built a basic @ocean_mining Ark mining payouts system with DATUM gateway. Lets see what @notgrubles builds with @StratumV2
