I think today was capitulation day in $BTC ETFs. Highest volume ever, feels fitting. Unlikely crypto won’t need a considerable period of sideways (or as others say “time-based capitulation”), but generally speaking, we should be done with the worst UNLESS equities now cave in.

Ngl, my stereotypes are strong enough to make me question myself in voting for a person named “El-Sayed” (yes, I am weak, too, but hey - at least I am aware of it), but this is a compelling analysis of the situation.
Abdul El-Sayed: “We are being actively bullied by the dumbest people in the room. Donald Trump is an idiot. He has one genius which is getting attention. Because his dad never gave him enough, because he was a nepo baby, he craved attention and used the bullying tactics to get it. But the man is an idiot. Just a fool”

So now artists and content creators are worried about AI using their intellectual property without paying, but when @Ringfence_AI had the solution for it nobody wanted to use it 🤷‍♂️

Ekiden is an order book-based derivatives exchange, so every trade starts with liquidity already sitting on the book or an order coming in to take it. If your order rests on the book and adds liquidity, you’re the maker. If your order matches against existing liquidity and executes immediately, you’re the taker. From there, the flow is straightforward: Order → Matching Engine → Execution → Settlement on Canton The matching engine handles price-time priority and execution. Once matched, the resulting trade is settled through Canton’s infrastructure. That distinction matters because maker and taker orders interact with liquidity differently, affect execution differently, and carry different fees. Understanding that flow is one of the basics of trading efficiently on Ekiden.

This chart is insane. This shows Russia's casualties over time compared to Russia's territorial gains in Ukraine over the last five years. No sane or rational person would say continuing the war to try and take more of Ukraine's territory is worth the casualties.

Semites are Jews, Arabs and a number of other peoples in the Middle East and Africa. Israel is a country, founded on a religion (which is in itself idiotic, but in the case of Jews and their persecution at the time and even now, understandable). Being anti-Israel is dumb. Being anti current Israeli regime is human and it does not have to imply being pro Hamas or pro Palestinian. Most certainly, it is not antisemitic. See? You can just pick the rational center. Sincerely, A German Jew

You know, I bet if people could vote for a centrist, who is rational on the issues (ie tough on immigration & defense, cutting red tape, regulating AI WHILE making it attractive to invest in it in their country, anti gender language and men in womens’ sports but strong on minority rights and supportive of their causes, supporting business founders, ignoring culture wars wherever possible, raising retirement age while mandating stock investment of pensions and taxing robots and capital same as labor, pushing solar energy and nuclear simultaneously, radically cutting government spending while taxing everything the same VAT and simplifying the tax code, working with allies internationally whenever it is mutually beneficial), they’d vote for them. Instead we get all this left wing eco-immigrant socialist or right wing oil-nationalist white supremacy bullsh1t to choose from. Kinda tired of that.

Been wanting to do this for a long time, but today I finally joined the flock of NFT artists by releasing my very first collection "Ex Scriptis Lux", which is an homage to some of the most influential writings in my life and an experiment with AI: opensea.io/collection/ex-scr…

Some of the pieces are fully directed by myself, others have only partial directions and some are entirely generative. Anyways, nothing special, but it feels good to have put this out there. If you want to grab one, feel free.
