#RanbirKapoor #SaiPallavi #Ramayana
I rest my case with this one Shloka, why #SaiPallavi and #RanbirKapoor are best to play Ram-Sita in #Ramayana
Which Nitesh Tiwari Sir has perfectly showed to us, already.
Okay I should not find this cute because they are playing Ravana and Mata Sita.
But, I see them as #Yash and #SaiPallavi here.

So, last Sunday, I was just doing timepass with ChatGPT, and I asked it which actors it thought would be perfect for different characters if the Mahabharata were made into a movie in India today.
So, it gave me:
Varun Tej as Krishna
Ranveer Singh as Karna
Vicky Kaushal as Arjuna
Sai Pallavi as Draupadi
Bobby Deol as Duryodhana
Mohanlal as Bhishma
Tabu as Gandhari
Shefali Shah as Kunti
Yami Gautam as Subhadra
And so on and so forth.
Among all these, I found only Tabu as the perfect pick for Gandhari and Yami Gautam for Subhadra.
Yes, I don't see Sai Pallavi as Draupadi. So, I gave it a counter-prompt and asked what it thought about Deepika Padukone as Draupadi.
And it went on like that until I got bored.
So, what I am trying to say is, I don't see SP fitting perfectly into any character in the Mahabharata. That doesn't mean someone else won't find her perfect for one of those characters. I can debate with them about why I don't think she fits, but I will not blatantly body-shame her just to justify my opinion.
Just as I find Deepika Padukone perfect for Draupadi, someone else may not agree with me. They might come up with another name. So, just because I want DP as Draupadi and don't get my preferred choice, I will not go after another woman to prove my point.
You can like or dislike anyone. You may not appreciate an actor's appearance in a particular character. You have every right to express your opinion, but do so respectfully.
I was just talking to an aunty who also doesn't like SP as Mata Sita because, for her, Dipika Chikhlia Ma'am is the perfect Sita. She was also telling me how she didn't like Maa Sita's looks. So, I opened X and showed her some tweets about SP. She read them and felt pathetic.
She said to me, “Toder aajker generation-er hoyeche ta ki bol to? Eto baje baje kotha bolis ki kore?” (What has happened to your generation? How can you use such foul language?)
See, she also disagreed with me. We had a healthy debate, but she never pulled Sai Pallavi down.
So, if you want to have a debate, have a healthy one.
In the end, I showed her some other snippets of SP from the assets. She liked her Vanvas look and that one picture as Kumari Janaki. She still believes her look as a bride and a married queen is not right.
Neither of us cursed each other, nor did she curse SP.
And yes, she wanted Aishwarya Rai as Maa Sita. Mind you, she is a senior citizen, so her choices reflect her generation.
You have your opinion, and I respect it. Let’s talk and have a healthy debate instead of playing a mudslinging game.
