Still need to pinch myself sometimes: We’ve raised $4.600.000 pre-seed with Schematik. It's time to make hardware less hard :)

every workflow at every company is different. ai agents are great when equipped with the right tools and connected to mcp. but to truly unlock depth in real-world use cases, you need three things a) open agents - bring sane defaults, but let users configure every aspect of the agent b) modes - matching real world modes users are in c) observability on usefulness

silly take. x is nothing without its network effects. anthropic actually has leverage - distribution beats platform tantrums.
It would be totally reasonable for X to ban Anthropic and all their employees from the platform as a response to this

nice, i can cancel my antigravity plan again🤞
We rebuilt how our agent uses context. Instead of stuffing everything into a prompt, Cursor dynamically discovers context via files, tools, and history, cutting token usage by 46.9% and freeing up more space for the agent to work.

the IKEA Effect in product dev is fascinating - we overvalue things we (partially) build ourselves, even if imperfect. in the AI age, this is shaping product design: instead of fully autonomous agents that "just do it" (and users feel detached), the winning products let users prompt, fine-tune, chain tools, curate data, or co-create. you invest effort → stronger attachment → higher perceived value → stickier adoption. seen this in custom GPTs, prompt-engineered workflows, or fine-tuned models. people love "their" AI more than a black-box one.

with more customers now relying on @bigmind_ai daily, i finally managed to find time over the holidays to set up an ai friendly test infra. really fun to see different agents now writing, maintaining and reviewing tests!

a founder that can do both
who wins? 1. a founder who codes fast 2. a founder who sells fast
