Most polls are useless now. The vast majority are communications products, and the few rigorous public polls are so flawed as to be useful only in tracking big shifts and registering strong consensus. Not the ideal way to confirm that, but a good reality check nonetheless.

Deputy tells me the woman who runs records left the building three or four minutes before I got there and said they’re closed the rest of the day. If the case is locked tight and airtight… why are people running? I’m not going anywhere. If you think you’ll hide from me till the end of this election you’re going to lose that bet.
