I’m very touched that people on here have noticed my absence. A couple of weeks ago I urgently asked for prayers for my dog Fern. I’m very appreciative and grateful to all of you that did so. Sadly, Fern did not make it. I’ll share details if anyone is interested but in a nutshell, she had an issue with her heart that caused a very sudden and unexpected death. I’ve lost tails before but some just hit harder and Fern was one of them. She was charming, loving, cute, joyful and could change anyone’s perception of all small dogs being “ankle biters”. She would convince you that you need a Cavalier of your own. She was my go-to pick for traveling or visits when I couldn’t bring all of them which got her jokingly dubbed as “The Chosen One”. She was exceptional. 💗 A lot of us here don’t get super personal, myself included but I’ll say the last year has been a bit rough- divorce has me losing some of my “tails” already and losing Fern now too is a lot for me so I had to step back 💔 She was also a terribly loud snorer lol. It’s very quiet here without her 🥹
