Hey @awscloud ! Need some real architectural advice. Right now, we are running 100s of Glue jobs to process XXGB workloads into Apache Hudi tables on S3. The bills are so high we're getting harsh messages from our leadership team to cut costs immediately. We are thinking of replacing our entire Glue setup with a serverless Lambda Fan-Out strategy using the Spark on AWS Lambda (SoAL) framework. The goal is to lean heavily into the Lambda always-free tier (1M requests / 400k GB-sec) so our compute costs drop to literally near-zero. But can a decentralized, multi-Lambda architecture actually handle the concurrent file-locking overhead that Hudi requires on S3 without timeline corruption or massive S3 throttling? Do you have any reference customers who have successfully productionized moving a heavy Glue Spark workload over to Lambda for cost reduction? Hudi community — is the VERSION AS OF PR useful?When S3-backed Hudi metadata gets corrupted, rebuilding is painful and multi-step. Going back to a previous version is hard because the exact timestamp isn’t always clear. Delta Lake-style VERSION AS OF would let me just restore instead of rebuilding from scratch.This would save a lot of unnecessary work on 100+ tables. Reviews / help getting it merged would be huge.

What does @domain know about .si that the rest of us don't? He's selling tons of premium .si domains at incredibly attractive wholesale prices. He's a true expert in market trends, emerging niches, and domain investment strategies, with an impressive track record. With the tremendous and consistent cash flow from his investments in other domain extensions, it's highly unlikely that he's facing any liquidity issues. So, what does he see that we're missing? Otherwise, why would someone with his expertise and financial strength sell strong keyword .si domains for just $11K? Is he seeing something about the future of .si that the rest of us aren't?
