Never could’ve imagined this would be my reality, but I can say it’s truly a blessing. Got my first couple of races under my belt for Hendrick Motorsports this weekend as a Jackman. Ready to build on the experience and make the most of this opportunity!

Williams was a tight end at @ElonFootball and earned an MBA there before finding his way to NASCAR in 2022. He's worked on a variety of leases in the O'Reilly series for teams like @DGMRacingFL and @TeamAlphaPrime before being assigned to the No. 88 JRM crew this year.

On the Cup side, Williams started as a backup jackman and tire carrier and did some races for @teamlivefast along with a few for @CoreyLaJoie before being assigned to the No. 47 of @StenhouseJr as a tire carrier last year.

In a good example of just how small the racing world is, Williams works with front changer @SkipFlores on that No. 88 and Flores is co-host of Stacking Pennies with @CoreyLaJoie. I'm sure that they'll have even more to share about Williams and that pit crew on the next episode.

Donovan Williams is the tire carrier for the No. 88 at @JRMotorsports and he just won his first NASCAR race carrying tires for @KyleLarsonRacin. He has been a development pit crew member for @TeamHendrick for a few years and is notable for being the Garage 56 jackman at Le Mans.

From a wheelchair to crossing my first finish line! Completed a 10k, the first race of my life, in roughly 57 minutes! I thought about so much while running, like how far I’ve come in 6 years, how far God’s brought me & how much support I have around me. Immensely grateful!
