Palmer Luckey says analysts claiming it's too expensive to manufacture in the US are lying to protect megacorps "I think I have a more realistic view than almost anybody. One of the problems with all these analysts that are telling you that it's going to cost $37,000 to build an American iPhone or $100,000 to buy an American computer." "They're trying to prop up a status quo that the megacorporations want to keep going. They want to outsource everything. They want to hire cheaper non-American labor." "They are willing to say and do anything to convince you that it can't be fixed, that it can't come back, that America is this helpless, neutered, post-relevant empire, and it is just not the case." "How do I know that? Because I have to make stuff in America every day because I work in the defense industry. The stuff that Anduril makes every day is not actually that different from a computer. My drones are basically computers. They have memory, a GPU, a CPU, sensors, batteries, a rugged integration." "The only difference between an Anduril attack drone and a laptop is a keyboard and a screen. That is not that hard to figure out, especially for a guy like me who started Oculus and comes from the consumer electronics space." "We're not going to let people lie about what America can and can't do anymore. We're just going to do it."

The people whining about the obviously cleared shotgun vaguely pointing to the side of another person probably masked voluntarily and are double boosted

Anthropic only soldiers on because every big company is chasing AI fever dreams cause it’s catchy for investors. It’s a house of cards, and if you listen carefully you can hear someone pull starting a leaf blower in the distance.

Lots of mutuals following this guy. Shit.
A couple years ago this dude doxxed my home address and plastered it everywhere. He said that i was selling military surplus larping as what he does for real, and i have never seen combat so it is time combat comes to me. He posted online telling anyone local to come pay me a visit. The amount of people we had standing guard on my property for the next few weeks was actually insane. No one ever showed though. Wild to see he finally got arrested and what it was for. This is also an impressive write up.

This guy is right. But the fuddlore in the comments might have given me cancer. “Oh yeah, then explain my KSG with Mini shells!!!” Bro, if you’re relying on a plastic jam-o-matic with the least reliable shell you could feed it? NGMI.
Shotguns are terrible for home defense. The long barrel and heavy recoil make them bad in tight hallways.

People on your side should be able to disagree or point stuff out without you trying to flame them down. When your persona is a hammer, everything looks like a nail though, I guess.

Not gonna argue about a clip that’s obviously AI or heavily staged. Suspect judgement from someone trusted in the community.

Bro needs to run. And this idiot needs to buy more than one cup if it’s this important to her.
This is the “mental load” modern women complain about. It’s a glass. It’s a towel. Fuck off.

Dudes who spent their entire career mouthing off to journeyman and supers in the comments here: “fire that apprentice for mouthing off”
When in doubt, ask the boss man. But, be prepared for the repercussions...

The most successful shops I’ve worked for paid $28+. One of the least successful that couldn’t keep skilled labor paid $17/hr. Not sure if it’s correlation or causation or a mix.
Experts are baffled why there is a talent shortage for CNC machining. I guess kids these days just don't want to work hard. 🤓

Spicy Mamí is away this weekend so I had to feed myself tonight (tragic). The issue is that I made a big pot of Alfredo then ate too much (yummy but tragic). So excuse me, I will be passing out on the couch from an Alfredo coma (positive).
