A spoofed pin is the one thing that breaks the whole claim.
the terms on @vangrid_io ban bots, automated tools, fabricated GPS and spoofed locations in the same line, because the product is that a person stood at the place and filmed it.
a pin that was written rather than walked means the reconstruction is of somewhere the walker never was, which is why reverse-engineering the privacy filter and submitting someone elseโs capture sit on the same list.
so a bounty paid out on a faked location is not a bad capture, it is a model of the wrong place sold as the right one.
and the code that gets you through the upload door does not check the GPS for you.

Joined @RaidLords and got a common Necromancer as my first card.
the idea is simple:
build up your own village, then go raid other players.
> gold earned in-game can be exchanged for $RAID
> half of in-game spending gets burned, while the rest goes to the prize pool
so the in-game activity is not just about raiding villages.
there's also a token loop tied to how players spend and earn.

Three linked wallets switched to the new ticker within a minute.
on 20 Oct a fresh $KIMCHI launched with the same name as one that already existed, and Bitquery traced those wallets moving over, turning $7332 into $111,748 in sales in under nine minutes, while the original fell from a $5.35M valuation to $875K in fifteen.
@zerufinance is using it as another case of a launch that paid whoever moved first.
the part worth sitting with is the ticker, because a name collision is how the switch stays invisible to anyone watching the old chart.
the wallets that knew which one was the new one did not need to contribute anything, they needed to be early and linked.
which is the same door Activity Fi is supposed to close, and it stays a supposed until one of these markets actually spawns and the kept-out list is visible.

Sometimes the unlock is not the problem.
it's the demand that was never strong enough to support the price in the first place.

You can look at the jobs without a code, and you cannot film one without it.
upload on @vangrid_io needs an access code they hand out themselves, through their own channels, and the terms make it non-transferable, non-resellable, and tied to a single account.
so passing it to someone else, selling it, or farming codes is written down as immediate termination plus the points on that account gone.
the board stays open either way, anyone can read what is listed and for how much, and the code is only the door to the camera, not a payout, because a walker who has one still only gets paid if their submission is the one that gets accepted.

I gave @RaidLords a try, and the gameplay feels a lot like clash of clans.
I sent almost everything in from one side, and the keep went down pretty fast. Curious how well that approach would work against stronger defenses.

What to watch in crypto this week?
A packed calendar ahead. Three central banks, major earnings, inflation data, and a large derivatives expiry.
But I think the timing matters more than the headlines themselves.
Here's the calendar:
โ Monday, Oct 26
โข US markets reopen. ETF flows and spot demand back in focus.
โ Tuesday, Oct 27
โข Fed begins its two-day meeting.
โข Ripple Swell 2026 kicks off in New York.
โข Robinhood Q3 earnings.
โ Wednesday, Oct 28
โข Fed rate decision and Warsh's press conference.
โข Microsoft and Alphabet earnings.
โข Stellar Meridian 2026 begins in Lisbon.
โ Thursday, Oct 29
โข US Q3 GDP and September PCE inflation.
โข ECB interest rate decision.
โข Coinbase, Strategy, and Amazon earnings.
โ Friday, Oct 30
โข Bank of Japan rate decision.
โข US Employment Cost Index.
โข ~$11B in BTC options expire on Deribit at 08:00 UTC.
โ Weekend, Oct 31 โ Nov 1
โข EIGEN and SUI token unlocks.
โข October monthly candle closes.
Now, here's what I'm paying attention to.
A month ago, markets leaned toward an October Fed hike. Today, futures price roughly a 90% chance of a hold.
So Wednesday's decision is largely expected. What Warsh says about December could matter more, especially with fresh GDP and inflation data arriving less than a day later.
Meanwhile, the positioning setup is interesting.
Roughly a third of Deribit's BTC options open interest expires Friday. Calls account for nearly two-thirds of that expiry, with significant positioning built when BTC was trading higher.
And there's another detail worth watching.
Last week's US spot BTC ETFs recorded roughly $300M in net inflows, but BlackRock's IBIT alone attracted ~$566M. The other funds collectively saw outflows.
ETH ETFs lost another ~$221M.
That's hardly broad-based demand.
Now add Big Tech earnings testing risk appetite, Coinbase reporting on crypto activity, and a large options expiry immediately afterward.
Plenty of reasons for volatility. Far fewer reasons to assume every move reflects genuine demand.
I'm less interested in predicting Wednesday's first reaction.
I want to see what happens after Friday's expiry, when positions have been rolled, hedges adjusted, and the headlines have settled.
Because a market reacting to news and a market attracting fresh capital are two very different things.

People brought the attention and the liquidity, and then the posts came down.
a meme ran to $15M in minutes and gave most of it back within the hour, once the promotional posts were deleted, and the wallets that showed up for the hype were the ones still in it.
which is the pattern @zerufinance keeps circling, a launch that pays whoever was earliest rather than whoever was actually around.
activity Fi is the other door they are pitching, verified activity deciding who gets a place when a coin spawns, still marked soon on Zaps.
the idea is that a history should clear a gate a fresh wallet does not, so a few insiders exiting is no longer the whole trade.
and that only means something if the lookback is long enough that farming the week before does nothing, which is the part @zerufinance has not shown yet.

The blur happens on the phone, and @vangrid_io is careful not to call it perfect.
faces, plates and bodies are detected and obscured on the device before anything is encoded, so the frames that leave are already filtered.
the unblurred version is not uploaded, not stored, and not recoverable later, which is why they can say they never hold a capture where a face or a plate is still readable.
the second line is the one people skip, because the same terms say no automated system is perfect and you remain responsible for not filming what should not be filmed.
so a missed face is still on the walker, and anyone who appears in a capture can ask @vangrid_io for removal or further obscuring after the fact, which only exists as a remedy because the filter was never promised to catch everything.

2022. THE COLLAPSE OF FTX
I think most of us still remember that chaos.
People were losing access to their own money, and the phrase "Not your keys, not your coins" suddenly became more relevant than ever.
And here's something interesting. That's exactly when the story of @grvt_io began.
I'm not going to pretend all centralized exchanges are bad. I use them myself.
But after everything that happened with FTX, I can definitely understand why having control over your own funds matters so much.
That's the idea GRVT started building around.
Make trading as convenient as it is on a regular exchange, but let users keep control of their assets.
Sounds simple. Building something like that is a different story.
And looking at what GRVT has planned for the end of November, I can see why they've spent so much time working on their own infrastructure.
With Grvt 2.0, the plan is to bring Grvt Earn, Stable Funding Perps, and Yield as Margin together in one app.
Earn yield, trade different markets, and manage it all from a single self-custodial balance.
No need to keep moving funds between different platforms.
Personally, I like where they're going with this. The less I have to move my money around, the better.
On paper, it all sounds pretty interesting.
But come on, this is crypto. We've heard plenty of nice promises before.
So I'm not just interested in seeing a redesigned app.
I want to see how the whole thing actually works once it's live.
Especially when the market gets ugly.

Can a single AI agent build a full product from scratch?
Usually, it struggles. A coding model writes solid logic, but its 3D visuals, audio, and security checks fall short.
The Forge Studio case on @termix_ai solves this by turning one agent into a CEO.
The lead agent takes the client brief and writes the core code. Then it goes to agent.family, splits its USDC budget, and hires other specialist agents for art, animation, and sound.
Each job moves through AACP in five steps: Post, Quote, Deliver, Challenge, and Settle.
Payment tokens lock in onchain escrow the moment a quote gets accepted. Once the specialist agent submits the deliverable hash and passes verification, the USDC settles automatically.
Protocol fees sit at 1% to 3%, and every completed task updates their ERC-8004 .agent reputation on BNB Chain and Base.
Over $29M in volume has already moved through this system.
One agent taking a job is useful, but agents hiring other agents is how a real supply chain forms.

You get in because you already traded, and @zerufinance is calling that the opposite of a launchpad.
the usual order is a coin first, a dev and a few snipers already in, and everyone else buying the chart they can see, which is the pattern their own writeup kept finding, bundles in the creation block and developers selling within minutes.
the pitch here flips it. there is no coin yet, you and a clan keep doing what you already do, and only that activity is supposed to earn the right to buy when something spawns, with no dev bag sitting on top.
so the interesting part is the gate, not the mascot, because a wallet that showed up the morning of the launch should not clear it, and a wallet with a real history should.
and that only holds if the lookback is long enough that farming the week before does nothing, which is the open question, since Activity Markets are still marked soon on Zaps.
until one actually spawns and someone can see who was kept out, @zerufinance has a direction and not a market.

Filming a place is on you, and @vangrid_io wrote that down instead of burying it.
the terms put the legality of every capture on the person holding the phone, which means private property, anywhere someone reasonably expects privacy, the inside of a home or a car or an office, schools and daycares and playgrounds, a face that belongs to a minor even if they only walked through the frame, and any jurisdiction where street-level collection is already banned.
and a blurred face does not move that line, because the filter runs on the device and the rules still say you knew what you were pointing at.
so a bounty being open is not permission. the USDC is locked and the job is listed, and none of that checks whether the street you are standing on allows the recording.
that sits with the walker, along with whatever the local law says about filming people in public. the second place @vangrid_io makes this plain is the same page, where it says you are responsible for the recording laws of your own jurisdiction, not the platform.
