Stop using P2P, you do not know the source of the naira. One of the worst things you will hate to ever happen to you as a Nigerian is receiving “bad naira”. Bad naira will make you hate yourself, because what is coming for you is heavier than you think. Things like you being branded an accomplice to a crime you never committed nor know about. My brother changed coin on Bybit, or whatever you guys usually do, and OPay locked the ₦300,000 he received. He went to their office yesterday, and they told him the money was fraudulent. Apparently, the total amount involved is ₦4 billion, scattered across 21 banks. So it’s either he gives them permission to refund the money to the person who was scammed, or he goes to court.
So basically, his ₦300k is just gone like that? Kuda has done this to me before, and I made sure I got my money back. I spent three weeks tracking that money until they finally unlocked my account. 😭
