The witching season is on us. There's a price for accusing someone of witchcraft. This dark tale has had reviewers likening it to the Grimms, Tolkien & Pullman (to my delight!) Published by @burning__chair - what a name when you're talking witches! #witches #historicalthriller

My novella was visionary! Published 2006, set in a world controlled by a software co. Recent news makes that rather apposite! That company's HQ is a needle-shaped building overlooking the City called The Shard - the real-life London version opened in 2013. Enough said, I think!

This BBC News item - a team heading to a remote island to solve a mystery - made me think of my novel; an oceanographer heads to the far reaches of the Southern Ocean, seeking an unknown, lost civilisation. I mean, you couldn't write it...except I did! bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3y0…

Island - yes, but will you get away?!

With everything going on in the world, I was reminded of my thriller novel, The Armistice Killer, showing the impact war can have, personal or wide-spread, on participants and their loved ones. It reminds us, too, how monstrous people can use and abuse the moment.

It reflects what lies at the heart of mankind - lots of mystery!

Be great if you can make it to Wokingham Library 12th March - it's always great to share the love with like-minded readers and writers. Again, my thanks to @booksmjp for their support in getting this out there.

Go on - throw the dice!
