I'm loving the thought and detail that's going into this potential change. I would die to see the data they collect. Predict 1 is the clear answer to me. Score 1 is ... not it. and +1 card is not a bad runner up.
Riftbound CN is testing going-second rules at S5 City Challenges 🧪
Nov 14–29: +1 card in your first Draw Phase
Dec 12–20: Predict 1 before your first draw
Dec 26–Jan 10: Start with 1 point
Test events = free Radiance booster 🎁
Which one do you think is best? 👇

Riftbound has been on a generational run with comms so far! It’s only been one year and the transparency has been refreshing.
‼ Riot Games has made a statement regarding Koko Lopez and has banned him from all sanctioned Riftbound tournaments and events until January 1st 2029! ‼
"Following an investigation into an incident at the Riftbound Regional Qualifier Los Angeles on September 26, 2026, Riot Games determined that Koko Lopez intentionally stacked his rune deck to gain a competitive advantage. Riot Games determined that this conduct constituted cheating under the Riftbound Tournament Rules."
"As a result, Koko Lopez is suspended from all sanctioned Riftbound tournaments and events, regardless of Organized Play Level, until January 1st, 2029."

Absolute mad tool! As someone in the software space and a TCG player this is an absolute dream to see the backend of it.
The card recognition model behind RiftSight is now open source as riftsight-vision!
It includes two small models that find and name cards in videos/streams, labels + a labeling tool, a browser runtime, and a guide so you can create your own model and extension for your card game.
