A federal jury convicted Muna Wais Fidhin on all nine counts of wire fraud, bribery, and money laundering Wednesday, in just the third Feeding Our Future fraud case to go all the way to trial. Most defendants convicted in the massive scheme have pleaded guilty.
Prosecutors proved Fidhin falsely claimed to serve more than 300,000 meals to children at two small Burnsville locations, one in a medical office building and another in a strip mall.
She billed nearly $969,000; received about $656,000, and paid kickbacks to participate in the meal program.
Prosecutors said she used fraud proceeds to help pay off her Savage home and a Lexus SUV. The jury convicted her after about 80 minutes of deliberations. She remains on electronic monitoring pending sentencing.

President Trump said he will support capping federal student loan interest rates at 2.5%! This has been an issue that I’ve long champion in Congress. Every American that decides to pursue higher education, especially in STEM, becomes an asset to our nation and gives us an edge on China.
