This is why I only paint Homebrew stuff. This is why i kitbash every new character mini into my own characters. the centralisation of warhammer sucks from both a storytelling and hobbying perspective. Warhammer is best as a sandbox of only war and conflict.

the chaos fanbase has to be the best 40k fanbase they are actually funny and dont rely on the same 3 decade old jokes compared to Imperium fans who like a solid 85% dont even interact with the hobby outside of twitter and culture war stuff and Xenos fans are whiny and annoying
