Today was exhausting, but also deeply fulfilling. 🤍🙏 Fresh from Undas, after working overtime to serve our community, I got the opportunity today to immerse myself in different schools across one of the poorest provinces in the country. And honestly, what I witnessed stayed with me. You see firsthand how the lack of government support and the failures of the system affect a child’s access to education and their opportunity to learn. It makes you wonder: when will the Philippines finally prosper in a way where no child is left behind? Ang lungkot isipin na hanggang ngayon, may mga batang kailangan pang mag-struggle just to access what should already be a basic right. Education, proper facilities, and even the most basic human needs shouldn’t be privileges. Experiences like this remind me that there’s still so much work to be done. May we never stop striving for a better life, hoping for a better system, and demanding a future where every child gets an equal chance to learn, grow, and dream. Because no one should ever feel that life has nothing more to offer simply because the opportunities they deserve were never given to them. P.S. The photo below is one of the elementary schools I visited earlier. Honestly, the condition doesn’t look conducive to a child-friendly learning environment. Nakakalungkot isipin na may mga batang ganito ang learning conditions. Every child deserves better. ☹️
